My table image is (TAG).

Here are the stacks sizes and positions:

Seat 1: Stack Size $5,500 (TAG)
Seat 2: Stack Size $50,000 (LAG) - Not a typo. Has been playing for two days and is still stuck $10,000.
Seat 3: Stack Size $3,000 (Weak loose)
Seat 4: Stack Size $4,000 (TAG)
Seat 5: Stack Size $5,000 (Tight)
Seat 6: Stack Size $15,000 (Crazy Asian)
Seat 7: Stack Size $10,000 (Tight)
BUTTON - Seat 8: Stack Size $9,000 (TAG)
HERO - Seat 9: Stack Size $2,500+/-

It was a straddled pot. Seat 2 straddled and raised it almost every time.

Seats 3,6,8 limp for $40

I have As,Qs in the SB, I call.

BB Calls

Seat 2 checks...

Flop comes 2d,4s,8s

I check

Seat 1 checks

Seat 2 checks

Seat 3 bets $160

Seat 6 folds

Seat 8 calls

I call

Seat 1 raises to $500

Seat 3 calls

Seat 8 folds

My read: Seat 1 was that he most likely flopped two pair, maybe 8,4 or 8,2. Seat 3 range (any pair or flush draw)

I decide to just call.

Turn Ah

I check

Seat 1 pushes all in

Seat 3 pushes all in

Hero?

I'm pretty sure no one has a set here. At best I'm putting seat 1 on two pair and can't get off it. Seat 3 I was not sure, based on info from previous hands, I'm sure he would have re-popped the $500 on the flop if he flopped a set.

I'll assume you flatted pre with the intention of LRRing it, otherwise you'd better just raise it yourself. In fact, just raise it anyway.
On the flop, I just shove.
The turn is an easy call/shove/whatever it takes to get your $$ into the pot.

Why are we playing this so passively? I mean, I can sort of understand the completion pre-flop. I think I prefer to raise there, but I can see the reasoning for not bloating the pot OOP if the game's really loose (though there's obviously still value in a raise).

That flop is gin. Play it fast. Lead or c/r. I really dislike the double flat call. In your position, you've got monster semi-bluffing equity. I'm not sure that I push immediately like Acid, but I think I go for something like a $700 c/r and I'm fine to get the rest all-in. If I'd happened to have flatted the first time and didn't put anyone on a set, I'm definitely shoving over the $500 raise.

Based on the way the hand was played...I'm not so sure.

Give him a break. He's five thousand posts tired.

As for the hand, after the straddle and all the other callers. Raise to like 350.

Play the flop fast.

Yeah, but based on his statements in the OP about the straddler raising all of the time, I would think that's the plan. I see your point though.
