10 dollar Mtt on FT, 27 pay, 33 left..This is my 4th hand at the table so no reads, and this is the first hand I played

Should I check here and gauge what buttons action is because if he raises (which he did) then I'm really put in a tough spot..As played, fold or jam? I'm playing under rolled so I thnk that affected my decision

I would check the flop and see if we could get a free card.

As played, I don't see him raising without at least a pair of 7s...more likely a set or an overpair. What else raises us here? Would he really put half his chips in the pot with air? Having said that, he would probably call a shove. I would fold here as played.
little punish
C/r the flop with more fold equity. Marginal FE here, so I fold and try to squeak into the money (especially playing under rolled, lol)

I would have fired a CB there as outside of a set, that's a great flop for your hand. Button is the cl at the table so he could be using that to bully the table around the bubble. If you raised with overs, you totally missed so he could be trying to pick off a CB that will fold to resistance. If he does have an overpair/set, then you have either eight or ten outs. I think that if he had a set, he might slow play it here since giving you a free card shouldn't hurt too much. The fact that the BB is still to act lends itself to a stronger hand however.

You're in it to win these things and you might even be ahead if button is bluffing with two overs although your stack can hurt his stack so I tend to think that he does have something as he's pot committed. I would use ten outs twice and you've got the pot odds to shove all-in and gamble as you're getting 1.67-1 and need about 1.5.

It's close though and folding is acceptable here as you've still got 20bbs to work with if you fold.
