Did anyone watch the season premiere today?

I watched it.

The 2 best were the dude with the low voice, and the Paula stalker. They were both funny as hell.

The pissed off rocker chick and the star wars girl sucked.

Also the chick from Oregon with the horses was hot.

Honestly I get tired of the people that are just there to get some TV time. I prefer the people who are genuine, people that actually think they can sing and then start crying because they're told they suck. I like the people who actually have no clue whatsoever. I didn't like the guy in the Princess Leia outfit or the girl with the doughnut muffins/princess leia wannabe.

The stalker was awesome... "Paul! PAUL!! YOU NEED TO STOP! Just a second Simon, you're ruining the moment...." LOL!


I thought that the rocker girl part was totally planned by her... it was completely ingenuine and totally sucked.

I don't remember who it was, but there was a guy that said that he liked Paula and Simon asked why... his answer was because she was a great singer and Simon immediately rolled his eyes and glanced at Paula... it was awesome.... probably my favorite part.


My favorite singer was the black dude that sang the Ray Charles song.

The Star Wars chick irritated me. She honestly thought she wasn't picked because of the way she looked. I guess it never occurred to her that she couldn't sing.

Lol they ripped the Star Wars chick pretty hard when she was whining about how the show wasn't diverse enough, then they showed how extremely diverse all the constestants who were chosen were.

I was pretty sure the stalker guy was an act, even though it was still funny as hell. If it wasn't an act they should have arrested him on the spot.

I also enjoy seeing the people who you think are going to suck then they end up good, or the people you think are going to be good then they end up sucking.

They gave way to much air time to the rocker and star wars chick, and the guy who waxed his chest. They were horrible and were not funny at all. Hopefully tonight is better because overall I thought last night sucked.

After 7 seasons, I think I'm finally over the bad auditions. They just aren't as funny as they used to be. However, I'll still watch to see who wins, as it seems every year there is some pretty good talent.

As long as Simon, Paula, and Randy are willing to keep doing the show, I think it'll be on for a long time.

LOL at the first bad audidtion who said the "Simon goes down on everyone" My wife and I had to pause the Tivo we were laughing so hard. Also a crankster, the weird dude with the Dad locket key thing and the guy who clips fingernails.

Ok, who here thought they let the girl that had the car accident go to Hollywood because they felt sorry for her? I mean, I didn't think her singing was that good, but I did think it was a very nice gesture for allowing her through. This episode (Texas) was better than last night's.

Personally I am still really entertained by the bad auditions...even 7 seasons later.

So far... disappointed in this season. The pissed off wierd chick with the glitter was a set-up and she's a horrible actor. Perrhaps she should reconsider venturing in the field of "actressing".
Hopefully next week will unload some better (or worse) auditions.

I completely disagree. I think they put her in because of her awesome personality not because they felt sorry for her. She is the only person I have seen so far that I have been excited about watching perform. I thought her voice was unique. Being the american idol isn't just about singing, it's also about having a great personality and pleasing the audience. Saying that, I do think she has a lot to work on with her vocals if she wants to make it to the next round.

I agree that they were too easy though overall. That kid who dressed like a politician, and the girl from Kelly Clarkson's town should not have gotten through.

She got in a horrible car wreck, and was wearing an eye patch in a lot of her pictures after the accident.

ya know what, sometimes, this show just slays me. Like when Randy just laughs his ass off while someone is singing, then says "Nah man, it's not gonna happen, ever. Singing just ain't your thing." He's laughing while saying this, but it's just hilariously cruel. Kills me every time.

Simon, in that promo for tonight, holding that little cutie's dog, and she says she'll do anything to get through. Simon will hit that ass. He loves the poon, although, he gets his poon outside of the show, unlike Paula.

Last night just sucked.

No real talent in the whole show, they kept doing stories on people trying out, then the people got no's. I want to hear stories of people going through to the next round.

There were a few decent ones. My favorite one was the girl that said that she sounded like Mariah Carrey and that other people have also told her that. So she auditions and they basiclly tell her she sucks. I lol'd when she tried to hit that octave. lol Then she did the post-interview and she was like "OMG, this means I'm going to be on the rejects show!!' Yes, you are and now people will be laughing at YOU!! How you like dem apples!! lol

They don't focus on the good talent during the audition phase.

every show usually has 2-3 great voices that are astounding YES's. This show has a few yes's but they were all in by squeakers.
