So not sure if this was discussed in another thread, but if this guy can somehow manage to buy the Leafs, this is what we need...no more 6 headed monsters and 15 different owners..One Billionaire owner ....This guy has a lot of coin but he needs about $1.5 Billion to buy MLSE
Please let it happen...ONE TIME DEALER

Alex is a real smart business man and everything he touches turns to gold. He has the money its just a matter of is it for sale. Didn't Ted Dibiase say everyone has a price for the million dollar man.

If you guys follow the Leafs closely, you will know that the problem the last few years has been that there is no defined power, no one really knows who makes the ultimate decisions...Is it the Teachers Pension Plan,Larry Tanenbaum, TD Bank(my employer) , the board of directors...This guy like pezeveng said has a great track record, and everyone has a price..If I had the money I would totally overpay to obtain MLSE...Remember its not just the Leafs..
The Leafs,Raptors, The Air Canada Centre, Toronto FC and a whole bunch of other stuff.

Anyone know what MLSE makes in a years? I know the leafs makes like 80 mill a year but how much does the total assets produce? Actually probally a decent investment at that price if they make like 120 mill a year.

The Leafs are already a golden egg as far as the fact that they are cash cow. A new owner is not going to make them more money. It will only shrinken the # of bosses. You still need a great hockey mind managing the team and John Ferguson is not your guy.

yes but what I think Serge is gettingat is that having one head on the monster will allow for the proper changes to be made a lot faster. Like trading, firing, hiring etc.
