was it correct to bet out here? i just figured i had some a strong equity edge (50% to improve to two pair or better, right? assuming all my outs are clean, that's a massive edge. assuming only my jack outs are clean, i'm still around 40%. it would be catastrophic if my flush outs were dead against Kx or Qx of clubs, but i think i can still give myself maybe 6-8 partial outs). should i have check-called a bet from any position, or check-raised to protect my hand and clean up some outs (e.g. make J-x or A-3 fold, or a naked K or Q of clubs [higher flush redraw if i hit on the turn)?

again, was it correct to bet out here, or should i have check-called (i don't think check-raising is correct anymore)? i think i've lost a good amount of equity, and my edge might not even be there anymore (especially if my jack and/or three outs are dead against aces up or a set, or if my flush outs were never clean against Kx or Qx of clubs). when it got raised behind me, this is a definite call, of course.

i improved to two pair. should i be raising here?? i just figured that my two pair might not even be good against a slowplayed set or a turned aces up or something similar. in this case, i want overcalls, right (though they didn't happen)?
