I was thinking about parlaying the ML of all four road teams in the first round.
It should pay like 40-1, but damn, how possible is it for all 4 home teams to lose?
Am i throwing money away?

If the Chargers were at the Titans I think it would be a pretty good bet.

No possible way all 4 home teams will lose this weekend. No possible way.

It is unlikely that Seattle and San Diego will lose. Plus, dont count out Pittsburgh....I love the Jags but I dont trust them until I see it in the playoffs.
Still, crazy year that all 4 road teams winning is a consideration.......I like at least two to pull it off.

Even better, Jus made the bet and got 51-1 odds. Only bet 19 tho.
Im sure in the next 51 years all four road teams can pull it off at least once, if not more than that!

Possibly, but not this year.

Agreed with Jon here, but at 51-1 I'd take the bet. Crazier things have happened, and this is the year a team went 16-0

Seattle -3.5
Pittsburgh +2

You could have done better. I just went on bodog and pulled up a parlay of the money lines of all the road teams. It would pay 52.3-1. I did not take the bet, though, because it is not going to happen.

That seems relevant.

And if you're going to make a parlay over two different days bet only the games on the first day on a parlay and if you win that then bet the payout on the next two games in a separate parlay.
You'll make more if all of your games somehow manage to hit.

Interesting stat(s) about the first round of the playoffs:
Since 1970, there have only been two occurences of the road teams running the table. Once in 1981 and the other was in 1989. However, it should be noted that during both of those seasons, the first round of the playoffs only had 2 games (not 4 as is the norm in today's NFL schedule).
Other than that, it's never happened with 4 or more games (one year the first round had 8 games).

I think you'd have as good of a chance at picking all the playoff games and trying to go 11-0 before 4 road teams win opening week. The odds there are about 1200-1. I've been attempting this for about 4 years and have gotten to the Divisional week twice and was one game away from Championship week once. It will probably never happen, but it's a fun sweat if you get to the second weekend.

This is exactly why sites are willing to give those 50-1 odds on all 4 road teams winning. The odds will always be against you, and you can make that bet once a year for 50 years and never win.

Whoever thought Washington was going to win was a dickhead..
They aren't that good of a team... There's a reason Todd Collins didn't make a start for 10 years..

You must be some kind of genius.
I'm anxiously awaiting your post two hours from now to see who you think is going to win the Steelers game.
