Playing it the way you did, I would probably call on the river. $75 is a value bet or blocking bet. If he has a set or overpair, I think he bets the turn. This feels like middle pair from the villain.
Did you think about betting the turn?

I don't like the play after the turn hits. When we check/raise the flop (by the way, if you're going to check/raise, raise more to narrow his calling range and define your hand better), we have to bet at the turn or our hand just looks like a complete bluff or terribly played monster (but usually a complete bluff). When we check again on the river, this sets villain up for a bet with, virtually, any two cards. Bet somewhere after you check/raise, because now you're in a terrible spot.
Oh, and I don't see how you can fold river.

I really don't like the way this was played at all.
1) I'm folding pre here like 60/40.
2) I'm 100% not mini-raising, I'm probably making it like 60+. If you're gonna miniraise to block, you might as well just call, if you're miniraising for value, you can make it more and still get called, and if you're miniraising to find out where you are at, please don't do it.
3) Bet the turn as played.
4) Snap call the river. You played this hand so poorly that it might've fooled the villain into betting a weaker T or 99

Why does this feel like a completely fabricated Hand History? The completely ragginess and rainbow nature of the board with the A/0 Soooted and the betting just feels like a contrived hand history trying to make some sort of point.

I don't like how this was played.
Bleh, I think this is exactly 99 a good amount.
Gigantic pet peeve alert: Saying raises instead of bets.

I don't mind the check-raise on the flop. But you have to raise more, otherwise he will call with almost anything..which will not narrow his range at all (nor does it define your hand).
Having said that, I hope you didn't check the turn thinking you were beat (based on him calling your check-raise).
And if you checked the turn hoping to check-raise again...you'll learn fast that about 0.0001% of players will let themselves get check-raised twice in a row. You're better off to just bet out (especially since the 2 is a great card for you).
And PLEASE bet the river! He clearly has nothing, unless you let him catch his set of 9s.

Thanks for the quality responses guys.
To the guy who suggested this is a fabricated hand history, you are actually close.
Its not fabricated, but in this scenario I was the villain and not the hero.
Hero actually thought for about 5 minutes before folding A10 face up.
I was shocked, shocked that he would lay such a hand down here and wanted to do an experiment to see if I was the only one who saw it that way.
For those of you scoring at home, I was holding 78

and looking for a call. I thought my hand was particularly disguised and would almost certainly be called, especially since I had been rather aggressive and shown a few bluffs throughout the session. The "Hero" in this situation had said on a number of occasions he knew I was bluffing in past hands. Such is life.

What would you have done if he had 2/3 or pot bet you on the turn, or put in a real raise on the flop? I can't believe he let you get there with that board.

Bet the turn.
On the river, flip a coin.

Take the free card on the flop. I guess you can bet since it seems like a dry board but most times i take the free card.
