Pre-flop: (7 players) Hero is BB with 6c.gif qc.gif
5 folds, SB calls t500 (pot was t2200),

In 90% of the cases this'll chase a SB caller away. Some'll call with any 2 cards. And if it works once, i find that they will be folding a LOT of small blinds to you.
Now though i'm so sure anymore if this was such a good move, because it made the pot much much bigger.

Hero raises to t3333, SB calls t2333 (pot was t5033).

Flop: 9d.gif ac.gif 3d.gif (t7366, 2 players)
SB checks,

C-bet.

Hero bets t3777, SB calls t3777 (pot was t11143).

Turn: ts.gif (t14920, 2 players)
SB checks,

Likely he's got me now.

Hero checks.

River: 4s.gif (t14920, 2 players)
SB checks,

If he's checking this river it's really unlikely he's got anything but a missed draw, right? So i decided to bet once again. In retrospect pretty stupid, because i'd probably beat a missed draw with a high card anyway... unless he had a K high flush draw.

Hero bets t5000, SB calls t5000 (pot was t19920).

Results:
Final pot: t24920

Comments on all streets appreciated.
I think i screwed up pretty badly this hand so...

you said that 90% of the time you chase away bb's if they dont have a reasonable hand, so that he called should've made you wondering. after he called your flop bet, i think you can go into checkfold mode.

I think the PF raise is ok. After that flop bet, c/f is the way to go I think.

If you're going to bluff the river, i think you have to be willing to invest a lot more than 5k at it.

FWIW i don't make a bluff on the river because i play this exact same hand almost every tournament and i always get called by something bad.

However, if you're going to bluff, i think you have to strap on a pair and make a real bet, betting 5k into the guy with 45k in a 4.40 is begging for a call.

With his sizable chip advantage and the weak bets you put out there, he's calling with anything that hit the board.

I personally check preflop. Battle of the blinds suck and can get unnecessarily expensive. Trying to steal blinds and antes from the blinds is a crapshoot, IMO.
