Button has been reraising a lot. Not really preflop, but postflop i've seen him reraise a lot when some1 minbets for example he'd almost always make a big reraise. He's been playing the most aggressive at the table.

Pre-flop: (6 players) Hero is UTG+1 with jd.gif js.gif
UTG raises to t1600,

Not a lot of info on any1 so i decided to just call.

Hero calls t1600 (pot was t3250), CO folds, Button raises to t13600,

What a huuuuuge re-raise... I thought for a while, but decided it was very unlikely he'd have AA/KK here and i doubt he'd do this with QQ aswell.
Most likely was a smaller pocket pair i think. Also because the 20$ 180-man guide said look for oversized bets, they're probably small PPs and you'll sometimes have to call off your whole stack in such a situation. So i did.
Was it a good call?

3 folds, Hero raises all-in t19249, Button calls t5649 (pot was t36099).

Flop: 7h.gif 2h.gif ts.gif (t41748, 1 player + 1 all-in - Main pot: t41748)

Turn: kc.gif (t41748, 1 player + 1 all-in - Main pot: t41748)

Final pot: t41748

Extremely marginal I think but 6 handed I think it's a certain pf raise. I think there is both an arguement for calling or folding, im really not sure.
Wingman008
I think we have to repop this pf. But other than that:

Do we think the button is a capable player? It could be a squeeze play.

It could be that I suck. But I agree with that he isn't going to make that size reraise with AA/KK. I think it's much more likely either a small pp, or something like Ak, AQ, AJ even.

I go broke here 90% of the time

This is def a re-raise PF imo.

I'd say you made a good call after that.

Forgot to add that the button has been playing very aggressive. He's made lots of reraises(postflop mainly).

Definitely preflop reraise. I'm sure button saw weakness in a minraise and call. I would say you have the best hand preflop.

What happened was i went allin and he did have AA somehow...

JJ < AA... Pretty sick on the bubble =/
sactownjoey
...and I would be wrong sad.gif

If you pop it preflop and he comes over the top for a 3rd raise, you might have been able to get away from it. With the flat call of the min raise, I don't see how you put him on AA.
