LAGtard villain is basically raising every hand when it is folded to him with ATC.
Passivetard is just calling anything and folding when he's missing.

.25/.25 6 Handed

Villain has $102. UTG+1.
Loose Passive Tard $25. CO.
Hero has $140. Button. A icon_suit_diamond.gif J icon_suit_spade.gif

Folds to Villain.
Lagtard villain in UTG+1 raises to $1.50.
Passivetard calls.
Hero raises to $7.5.

Lagtard thinks and calls. Passive tard calls as well.

Pot: $23
Flop: Q icon_suit_diamond.gif 4 icon_suit_diamond.gif 4 icon_suit_club.gif

Both check. Hero bets $20.
Lagtard villain mutters something about how he thinks he has the best hand. Calls after deliberation.
Passivetard folds.

Pot: $63
Turn: 2 icon_suit_club.gif

Villain checks. Hero checks.

Pot: $63
River: 10 icon_suit_heart.gif

Villain checks. Hero checks.

Does anyone play this differently?

Looks good - I might fire 25-29 on the river after he checks to me on the turn. A10 and KJ type hands will play like this.

Can LAGtard be pushed off a marginal hand? Or did you read his muttering/deliberation as disingenuous? I would think he needs a set, top/top or top/flush draw to make any play if you put a bet in on the turn. Although that could certainly be an expensive fact finding bet.

I don't think a hand with a 4 would check the turn, honestly.

And he couldn't have top/flush draw either now that I read it again. Just off the cuff, LAGtard screams 99. I think he has to be the turn w/a Q unless he checked down KQ or Q10 afraid of the bigger Q?

A few hands before this, the LAGtard villain made a very disingenuous statement about having a flush draw when he actually flopped a house. Because of this I was sort of thrown off as to whether or not he was being serious or acting. I think against this villain, if I don't bet the turn, I'm not getting him to fold pretty much any pair on the river.

I just feel like I should probably bet the turn with just the LAG still in the hand though, but I have no idea what to bet.

Just bet the turn. Your hand already looks pretty big and you can probably be sure he's got a better hand than you do by the river most of the time.
TheWanderer
Hard to represent anything by the river. Just give up and check behind.
CobaltBlue
Bet $15 on the flop, follow it with $35 on the turn, and check the river behind. As played on the flop, bet $40 on the turn.
