don't know how to convert hand history so please just bare with me...
10+1 90 person knockout on fulltilt
stacks are:
villain 6875
me 6855
average is like 3100 right now
blinds at 25 50 im in the small blind villain is in the cutoff
dealt 65 offsuit
folds to villain who raises to 150, button calls, i call, big blind calls
flop 7 A 3 two spades
check, check, villain bets 400, dealer calls, i call, bb folds
at this point i am going to try and steal it on the turn and also i feel we are deep enough where if i hit a non spade 4 i can scoop everyone so its not a bad call in this position, and i can still lead the turn because honestly i had seen the villain maybe in 2 hands and this bet just didn't seem like an ace
turn is 6 of diamonds making a backdoor diamond draw also
i check, villain bets 1050, dealer folds, i call at this point not going for a checkraise because honestly i am pretty sure i have the best hand and could raise to see if i actually do but i want to give him a chance to bluff the river
river j of hearts
i check and villain quickly bets 1650
at this point i think why would he bet just a naked ace here and not check it down, his raise preflop made me believe he had a facecard but honestly i put him on KQ of spades and thought he missed....i get to the time bank and call...he shows q3 of diamonds and i take the pot and villain tilts all in next hand
good play, bad play? yea i know i included results but whats your guys thinking on this and i had a semi read and i know a call like this is read specific but what would you guys do?

Honestly, here's my thoughts.
You made your read, and were right. Congrats. You're going to be wrong there way more than right.
Also, don't include results in hands, it creates a bias in responses.

honestly it all seems pretty bad, i can see myself playing an ace like this if i were villain. He could be putting you on a weak ace and value betting on the end. Assuming you know he doesn't have an ace, how can you think you can make a bunch off of your gutshot straight draw if you think that villain doesn't have a pair of sixes beat? Out of position you picked a pretty risky spot to try and steal if thats what you had intended. In your defense its hard to put read based hands on a poker forum like this because the advice given is usually based on the standard play, which can be a lot different than a great play you might make based on read.

Ah, the old double float out of position against 2 players with 6 high no draw drifting smoothly into the ever classic out of position double street value calling bluffcatcher with 3rd pair.
Standard, I would say.

I can give you props for a sick read-based call on the river, but honestly, I think every street up to that is horrible. I would have folded three times over before being faced with that decision. FPS
