Danny Dingleberry
I hope this is the place for this topic..

I have only just recently started playing cash games regularly, and I wanted to compare hourly rates, just to see how i'm going.

so i thought maybe it would be alright if we all posted our hourly rate in BB/H? yeah nah?

no limit holdem cash game. which is why i posted in this forum.

it's a live game i've been playing... though i'm not sure it matters too much.

Online players playing 12 tables and winning at 4ptbb/100 will be on about 33ptBB/hr.

That just ain't possible in live play.

this is really hard to do for any player imho online today. Table selection is sooo critical and 12 tabling makes it really hard to table select properly.

If you're gonna be an ass like this then people aren't going to give you good responses. Seriously.

With rakeback+bonuses I think it's definitely possible.

Do I smell prop bet?
Royal_Tour
when i did the Royal Run to 10k. it was live NL.

It started off slow since i didnt have a BR, but from start to finish, I averaged 157.00 a session.

a session average in hours was roughly 5. which is $31.4 per hour. or 15.7bb's/hour which in Live play is closer to 35 hands/per hour

If I didn't spew at NL cash I'd consider it. smile.gif

I've never played more than 8 tables though.

I'm pretty sure pokerplayer24 (wherever he is) regularly 12-20 tables cash and just crushes the games, so I'm pretty certain it's not just possible, but plausible up to about $2/$4nl.

Remember that rakeback and bonus can give something like 1.5BB/hr/table.

BTW this was a post of his in August:

let's see, I play about an hour a day if I'm lucky...

so like -$.50/hr.

still learning, at least I'm not hemmoraging money anymore! I keep getting drawn out though, I'm playing solid/appropriate hands in position but I'm sure it has more to do with my betting than the cards why I am losing/allowing to get drawn out on.
