I've been mixing in $1BB SHNLH with $2 BB FRNLH, so maybe that's clouding my judgment on whether this is totally standard. No reads except for the 2 players' stack sizes.

Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $2 BB (8 handed) Full-Tilt Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

saw flop|saw showdown

Hero ($147.35)
UTG ($241)
UTG+1 ($44.20)
MP1 ($202)
MP2 ($325.15)
CO ($103.60)
Button ($37)
SB ($198)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 7, 7.
1 fold, UTG+1 calls $2, 3 folds, Button raises to $10, 1 fold, Hero folds..

Final Pot: $7

easy fold.

he has 27 left behind. if he had 130 left and was very TAG with his preflop raising hands, than i would consider set mining.

but as is, its standard fold IMO

Depends.

Many will say "Standard" - do you want to play a middle pair in what is likely at best an out of position race against a couple of short stackers?

Personally, I don't mind playing mid and even sometimes small pairs out of position if I have a read and think I can out play the opposition after the Flop.

Given the short stacks there isn't enough implied here to make the call.

I guess it is a Fold.

He is also OOP to a short stack, in what looks like it will become a all in on the flop. so his best bet is to raise or fold.

see all 5 cards, or none at all.

Agreed.

There is no opportunity to "out play the opposition" after the Flop since it is going in anyway.

SO SO SO read dependent. Push or fold, depending on who we're dealing with.

Villain who raised is clearly committed even if I just call. If I push, short stack who limped is now essentially getting 3:1 to come along, which can only be worse for me, right?

Yeah, I really don't mind the fold. I essentially said the same thing, any call prices in villain to push almost any flop he's doing this with pre-flop, so if you want to call, you might as well push.

It looks pretty standard, you can't flat call because of his stack. If you push he's calling and you're probably an 80-20 favorite occasionally, a coin flip most often but a 20-80 dog way more often than a favorite. I don't think he has a low pair or a weak ace often enough to make it worth it.

...and don't forget, there are 2 Villains. UTG+1 called out of position.

Easy fold against shortstacks, you are either way behind or flipping imo.

[x] Fold preflop. Your hand isn't worth the cost to play out of position.
[ ] Raise more preflop. You have to consider implied odds.
[ ] Get all in.
[ ] Bet more on the flop.
[x] Fold. You're either way way behind or slightly ahead.
[ ] Call. When villains give you a good price to draw to the nuts in position, accept their offer.
[ ] Call as played. You're pot-committed against his range.
[ ] Don't bet or raise. Hands that you beat fold and hands that are ahead profit.
[ ] You can't beat what he's representing. Fold.
[ ] The amount you have contributed to the pot is irrelevant. It's a sunk cost.
[ ] Look out! He has a gun!
[ ] There's not waiting for a better spot in a cash game. The better spot will be there regardless of what you do in this spot. If you're afraid of going broke, then you're in too big of a game.

David, can I steal that and just use it as my standard form reply?

Also, add:

[x] Raising for information only is retarded.

Oh yeah, that's a good one.
