Not a tennis fan I take it, or a young one...

No to tennis, and I'm 21 - I replied before I clicked the link. smile.gif

For those of you who are unfamiliar with Boris Becker, here's a point in tennis that he won against Andre Agassi:

I'm so old - I remember watching him play Stefan Edberg in the Wimbledon finals back in the day. Such an insanely competitive athlete...one of the greatest true athletes of all time.

I'm not really a fan of tennis but I know who Boris Becker is, but WTF? PokerStars?

Ah Boris, what a legend! Banging a girl in the cupboard at a restaurant in London beats any of his Wimbledon's for me!

I think PS have went for him because he has his own chatshow in Germany and is obviously a massive star there. They also run a lot of EPT tournaments there, Dortmund for example. Getting more people playing poker in Germany would be a great coup for them it has a population of between 50-60m and thats a lot of Euros!

I heard he is actually pretty good but, is it me, or does that picture looked photo shopped?

Being based in the UK, I'm fortunate enough to still be able to play at Party and there are loads of German-based players there. I think it's a market that's really starting to open up.

And as you say, if sites start some heavy marketing in China and the Far East, there'll be $$$ aplenty flying about.

i'm really looking forward to see him playing in the tournaments. maybe he'll surprise us all...
he already said that he is playing poker since his tennis career. who knows, it's possible that e's not bad at all...
Big Mike Watters
Wonder how this relationship would be affected by the ban in Germany?
