will make me puke up cranberry sauce. This has to be just the worst year ever for a Bears fan. The Bears completely collapse, falling way short of all expectations, at the same time the packers are resurrected and Farve cements his place in History. I can't tell you how much I've enjoyed the last 4 or 5 seasons, watching Brett Farve struggle and tarnish his legacy. I've been making the argument to anyone who will listen that Farve, while great, is extremely overrated, and has thrown the Packers out of more playoff games than he's won for them ,but everyone always gives him a pass for some reason for his epic big game melt downs. Watching him struggle on crappy Packer teams, not letting the dream die gave me all kinds of sadistic pleasure. Now this... a Farve Renaissance, an Indian Summer.. one last gasp of greatness so everyone can slobber all over him one last time.. If he goes to a Super Bowl this year or next, people will have a much more legitimate (and still erroneous) argument that he's the greatest QB of all time, and that makes me want to cry. All I can hope for is that he throws 4 interceptions in the NFC Championship game verses Dallas, that only Bears fans will remember 6 years from now when Madden gives Farves Hall of Fame induction speech. God damn I hate Farve.
