QUOTE (tskillz187 @ Monday, November 19th, 2007, 7:13 PM)

My team is currently in second place. My league gives .5 to receptions. 1qb 2rb 3wr 1te 1k 1d league.
My Team:
Carson Palmer
Andre Johnson
DJ Hackett
Greg Jennings
Ladanian Tomlinson
Willie Parker
Greg Olsen
Backups:
Brandon Marshall
Javon Walker
Deion Branch
Earnest Graham
The trade is Earnest Graham, Willie Parker, DJ Hackett, Andre Johnson for Chad Johnson, Jericho Cotchery and Stephen Jackson.
I think I'm giving up a lot at WR but it's my deepest position and this solidifies my RB situation because Willie sucks and Earnest is not an every game type player. Right now I'm 2nd in the league alone, and a good bet to make the playoffs.
Well it looks like a better trade now, with hacket out at least 2 weeks or more you can take him out of the mix. And Lt and a hopefully staying healthy Jackson is a nice RB punch. Then you replace hackett with C. Johnson (who hopefully wasn't a fluke this past week) Then you pick up Adrian Peterson as a back up(if you haven't already, then its too late) and your looking good for the playoff run. Branch also should see more targets with Hackett out.
But then again if you can Pick up Adrian Peterson. You should be fine anyway just subbing branch for hackett. Or maybe even Javon Walker who I think may go off.
So I think it's a pretty equal value trade, but probably no upside.
Especially with the Steelers probably having to play Parker the rest of the way.
Also if you stay in second and get a first round play-off bye (week 14) Then you don't have to worry about parker against the pats.
Then again Palmer/ Johnson could be a nice duo for the rest of the year -- but Johnson has not been finding the end zome and could be a sell high guy
Pretty random answer I guess.lol
