You cannot be serious. BBFIDTS.

um, ya I am. no bbf required, I didn't lose, but I'm still not convinced that shovelling is the right play with 250 draws out there.

It definitely is. UTG+1 is going to have a lower set more often than any other hand and UTG could easily fold to a push here. I guarantee you make at least $10 on average by pushing here. Probably more.

Instashovel AINEC.

If you shove and get one caller your worst case scenario is facing a wrap and flush draw hand like J icon_suit_heart.gif 9 icon_suit_heart.gif T icon_suit_spade.gif 6 icon_suit_spade.gif in which case you are only about a 55:45 dog and still might make money in the long run because of how much is already in the pot.

If you shove and get two callers your worst case I can think of, wrap and flush draw for one hand and KKAA for the other, you would still have more than a 35% chance of winning the hand.

So even in worst case scenario you are barely -EV (possibly slightly +EV with the dead money in the pot), which in no way will offset the 90+% of the time you are a big favorite.

Never fold top set when it's the nuts on the flop. Ever.

Damn you, i'm 0 for 4 in situations like this so far in my omaha career.

But yeh, don't fold here.

so ya, I shoveled, turn 9x, river was a icon_suit_heart.gif - both draws hit - buddy flips over Q7, for top and bottom pair, NO redraw, and I tid.
