Why check the flop? You don't want to give someone a free chance to hit a boat with the paired board, do you?

I imagine he checked the flop because he didnt want to get heavily involved in such a deceptively weak Omaha hand. As for the play, think its standard. He had quad 6s didnt he?

Looking to check/raise a c-bet by the button, I would bet. OOP sucks.

Why call his min raise?

I usually lead here, but I can't really argue with a C/R. I doubt button will C-bet with trash much here, but you can at least force lower trips to commit their stack if they're going to draw against you.

On the turn, I'd probably flat-call the raise as that's a really weird line for lower trips, and if he has T6 (more likely than 66 imo), you can draw cheaply against him. Even if you can't bring yourself to fold the river, someone playing this passively is unlikely to bet your whole stack anyway.
