Tony Franklin system isn't as good as the Micon System.

Fun to have a good defense and the offense ruin ur season.

Alabama beats Auburn...I think u have said that for 6 st seasons.
gatortom64
Urban Meyer looked COMPLETELY clueless. The Gators expected Ole Miss to lay down. They still had a chance at the end, but EVERYONE knew Tebow was going to run. If he calls for a jump pass on 4th, the receiver goes untouched to the endzone. Worst coaching performance ever.

I will admit that I have no idea about anything anymore. USC and Florida losing has thrown me off my game. I saw them both undefeated at the end of the season.

Pretty sure he was being sarcastic.

USC is back to #8. In the perfect spot to slide into the title game as the big 12 and sec teams ahead of them start beating each other up.

I don't think you're going to see teams go undefeated much anymore. The reduced scholarships and rosters are letting other teams into the mix. So even if they don't have a realistic shot at a national title they can still go out and beat a top 5 team on a given day.

anyways....college football is getting more and more like the NFL......no patterns or anything......anyone can win on any given saturday

already this year there are sooo many crazy loops (like team A beat team B who beat team C which destroyed team A

and wtf is up with Vanderbilt????
KowboyKoop
The national championship game should just be the SEC champ vs. the Big 12 champ this year, no matter what. Instead this POS system is gonna let some weaker team like Ohio St. or USC right back into it...and then when that team gets blown out......rinse and repeat.

God the BCS is just unbelievably stupid.

SEC and Big 12 are obviously the stronger conferences, but USC certainly is not weak. Stanford and Oregon State games were embarrassing, but they were definitely more freaks of nature then the usual.

I live in Bakersfield, but I'm not a USC fan... I come from Big 10 territory. But even I can't kid myself not to understand that USC is above the Pac 10 as of the last 6 or so years.
SuitedAces21
Oklahoma vs. Alabama would be a great game. Especially if both are undefeated.

Now if Texas beats OU, and LSU beats Bama, that would still be a great game.

I said weaker, not weak. USC is/will be a weaker team than the top SEC and Big 12 team. They are a very good team, but if Bama or LSU or Mizzou or Oklahoma or Texas make it out of their conference title games with one loss or less...there is no way you could say USC could match that. USC is good, but not of that caliber this year.

USC is in the same position Miami was for years in the Big East. If they go undefeated, great. They deserve to play for the title. however, if they lose even once (especially in conference) then they dont belong in the championship game. The road in the Pac 10 and the Big 10 is too easy compared to the SEC or Big 12.

That ref needs to be fired. It's absolutely unacceptable for a ref to initiate contact like that. It's bad enough when refs fail to get out of the way, but to hit somebody... utterly unacceptable, he needs to be immediately terminated.
SuitedAces21
Its called instinct, brother. The ref saw him coming, contact was inevitable in his mind. So he didnt stand and take it, he delivered the blow. Self defense.

Player needs to hit the weight room too, how you gonna let a 50+ year old ref without pads stick you with a forearm shiver like that.
SGFULTON83
If he steam-rolls that ref, then everyone says "Why did he hurt that poor old man". With that being said, how can you let that old man lay you out like that? A lose/lose situation IMO.

I actually saw someone on ESPN say that Florida would win by 50 because Kentucky is devestated by injury. Should have bet that one.

Bama isnt the team Florida needs to lose. Florida needs Penn St, Texas, and Texas Tech to lose. At least two of the three.

Then if Florida beats an undefeated Alabama they can vault into the title game.

Yeah, now that you put it that way, Go Bama! LOL icon_biggrin.gif

22-3 Bama, early 4th quarter. Amazing defensive effort once again so far....and the offense has done what it needed to do. Great game so far...hopefully we can finish it strong.
KowboyKoop
30-9 now after the refs just hand Tennessee a touchdown drive...oh well.
Freddec
man I want a shot at you guys again..........if we take care of the Gators it's on........
KowboyKoop
I hope you guys do beat the Gators......I'd much rather play Georgia. It certainly wouldn't be an "easy game" or anything, but I think we match up a lot better against Georgia than Florida..not to mention the past success.

I'd definitely agree with that. If we make it to the SEC title game, whether we play Georgia or Florida, it's gonna be a war. In the game at Georiga..I think it was just a perfect storm...Bama played perfect in the 1st half, Georgia just completely unraveled..and Bama caught the breaks. I'd say Bama is the better team, but certainly not by such a wide margin that we'd be a heavy favorite or anything..I'd expect a close game for sure and we most definitely would get beat if we weren't on top of our game.

The line would be pretty short for an Alabama/UGA game at the Georgia Dome. They play the SEC title game in Atlanta, right? Probably something like Bama -3. Maybe 3.5 or something.

Just another friendly reminder.

Alabama is going to lose this game. Already three GIGANTIC mistakes here in the first quarter. Fumble an inch away from a TD, retarded penalty to give LSU great field position after a TD..and now a fumble on the kickoff return.

14-7 LSU. Game over. We didn't show up to play.
