Excellent news indeed. I remember the first outing of this show here in the UK, my first exposure to poker back in the late 90s. I recall me and a bunch of mates at Uni sat round watching the final table through to the early hours.
The hole-card cameras were an awesome idea and really made the game come to life. We then started playing penny games amongst ourselves, then started playing with play money online at PokerRoom. Even back then it was fierce competition to see who wouldn't have to reload their play chips! Nowadays we take eachother's cold hard cash of course.
My main memory from Late Night Poker was a table featuring Phil Hellmuth and a guy called Korosh (sp?). Hellmuth was constantly berating him after Korosh was seemingly re-raising every time Hellmuth bet. Korosh said.."You talk. Do." Hellmuth did and busted him. Glad to see the show back.
Yea I remember that episode lol, I haven't seen that Korosh guy since, apparently he was banned from nearly all the casinos in europe and the US,
It's gonna be interesting to see Annette_15 play against some of europe's top live pros.
