Anyone else watching this on PBS? I've only caught bits and pieces, but it looks excellent. Man, we owe that generation a lot.

I've got pieces here and there as well, but what I saw of it seemed very well done and excellently researched. Using stories and experiences from the micro level, both abroad and on the homefront, to examine the macro issues was very interesting.

The Civil War series was better, IMO. But this one is pretty good.

I've tivoed the majority of it (I hope) and intend to watch it all when I have a couple of days off. Oh, and working in a bank in South Florida has made me hate that generation. They did a bunch, probably more than I know, but damn are they annoying. Trust me.
