Hey all. Wondering if anyone has read "Small Stakes Poker" by Ed Miller. Read a little strategy based on the book and got me really interested in it. Did anyone like it or hate it. Really lookin more to apply it to 1-2 No Limit possibly 2-4. Also if you have read it how has it worked for you? Thanks

It's Limit only. And it's the best book on the subject.

Just don't apply it to NL. 2+2 has an NL book though.

I sure haven't "ready" yet.

yeah like it's been said, you should only buy it if you want to play limit hold em...

There are a bunch of NL books, but I'm not qualified to say because I don't play much NL.

Which book would you guys recommend to apply to a small stakes no limit cash game ?

I'm only part way through it but Largay's NL book seems like a good first NL book.

NLHET&P is geared toward deep stacked mid stakes games - 5-10 and up

Professional NL is good too but sort of covers only part of the game. Kind of hard to explain. It's volume 1 though and I think it'll be more useful when they add volume II (and III ??).
