Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (6 handed) Full Tilt Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FCP)

saw flop|saw showdown

UTG ($112.95)
MP ($67.90)
CO ($76.45)
Button ($49.75)
SB ($54)
Hero ($86.80)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 9 icon_suit_spade.gif , 5 icon_suit_spade.gif .
UTG raises to $1.75, 1 fold, CO calls $1.75, Button calls $1.75, 1 fold, Hero calls $1.25.

Flop: ($7.25) J icon_suit_spade.gif , 5 icon_suit_diamond.gif , 9 icon_suit_diamond.gif (4 players)
Hero checks, UTG bets $4.5, CO folds, Button calls $4.50, Hero raises to $20, UTG calls $15.50, Button raises to $52.5 (All-In), Hero folds, UTG calls $28.

Turn: ($123.25) J icon_suit_heart.gif (2 players, 1 all-in)

River: ($123.25) 6 icon_suit_club.gif (2 players, 1 all-in)

Final Pot: $123.25
Button is very aggressive. UTG seems solid. The decision preflop was very much on a whim. Usually fold.

The flop I went for the check-raise because getting smooth called here would leave me in no man's land.

I think you played it well, that looks like a hero fold. I'm really curious as to what the villains had? Button looks like a set, and UTG I really don't know. An overpair? 8d7d?

I don't get (just like in another post) how the button raises all-in for more than he actually has.

Anyway, you have to fold after the call/raise all-in from the button. The way the hand turned out, the button either had a set or better two pair hand, or a huge draw. The turn killed you regardless so you couldn't have felt too bad about it.

With heavy action from two opponents I let go of bottom two here pretty easily.

Playing 95s OOP is a mistake I think and a pretty big one. Playing most hands from the blinds just sucks to begin with. Even if the button was drawing (which is highly unlikely here), UTG looks very strong as well. Easy, easy fold.

Yes I fold 95s 98% of the time here, but I decided to speculate on a multiway pot. Yeah in retrospect it was an easy fold but I took my whole time bank to make it. As for results the button had T7 of diamonds and UTG had AKd. Which was their best possible hand combinations as I realized when I thought more about the hand.
