Not a big fan. It's not a "full wrap" hand, in that you can only hit a 6 or J for the nuts (8 outs). Though unfortunate, your Ace is the "dangler" in this pot. Can't really help you much unless you river two pairs. You should take out the "button folds" on the turn.

Am I missing something? We have an oesd, not a wrap.

No you arent... Guess we have teh top pair and an OESD. More reason to check the turn? But that 2 looks so harmless...

After check raising the flop I am almost 100% not giving up the lead. Unfortunately, he could very easily have a set and wants to see a turn in position before he puts any more money into a straight draw heavy board. You are right, the 2 is harmless and unless he has a set or top 2 I don't see how he can call this, but if he called the check raise it is likely he has one or the other.

Looks to me like he had at least the same drawing hand you did and you got away with this one. I think a weaker bet on the turn gives you the same information.

Flop is good. You will take it down there often.

I doubt he is flat calling flop with a set or two pairs. He must have JT8 or 865 something. He can't call a pot on turn with that.
