Wait, Wait, you forgot to post what he had!

Doesn't matter - once turn hits it's automatic. Wondering more about the flop specifically.

I like it. I do that most of the time with my big wraps. Sometimes I'll take my chance and see if I can check raise to get even more money in the pot.

I see these flops checked through way too often. I still usually go for the c/r though.

Both those thoughts went through my mind honestly. What consideration do we give to how deep me and the CO (pf raiser) are here? I have ~2 buyins and he covers. Does that change the way we should be looking at it?

My bad...thought you were talking about the donk who bet into you on the turn, but that is unfair because I already knew what he had.

I like this bet on the flop. Who is going to bet this flop behind you? Top 2, set, a big draw? I want people in there and I want a big pot so I would rather bet and hope for at least one call than hope to c/r. I think a lot more hands call you rather than bet into a crowded pot. I am greedy and would not be happy check raising someone off of this pot. I am looking to stack someone here. I don't see CO calling this bet with anything. If he has KK or QTJ I believe he would be raising and that would be just fine. If he doesn't either of these I don't see him c-betting into this pot anyway.

Though you're right, what he bet/called with was pretty laughable. I'll have to find the hand.

WTF?

2nd pair and gutshot to split ftw? LOL

Don't pot flop. Show some weakness. Force Co to raise you with two pairs or AA or something so you can get it all in on flop. Even if he flat calls , it keeps the pot smaller to allow you draw easily on a brick turn.
