I have always played tournaments only but I am now getting into cash games. In your opinion, what is the best book for no limit Hold'em cash games. Not for a begginner but for intermediate to advanced. I've read Dan Harrington books for tournaments but I notice that the cash game is diferent. Thanks for sharing your opinions.

Jen Harmon writes the LHE section in Doyle's Supersystem 2... It's good.. You also have PLO (Lyle Berman), O8B(Bobby Baldwin, 2-7 Triple Draw (our namesake, Daniel), Stud 8 (Todd Brunson), and NLHE (Doyle)....

Wish there was good Stud and Razz section, but it's a solid buy for LHE, too.. and gives you a good base for some of the other popular games.

I went a long time playing without ever picking up a book... huge mistake. Anyway, I have seen lots of recommendations for Supersystem so I think I am going to pick up a copy. Is that a beginner's book or does it assume a certain amount of knowledge?

I think NLHE: Theory and Practice by Sklansky/Miller is the essential NLHE cash game book.

Is this an advanced book, or does it start you out with cash game fundamentals as well? If so (advanced), what is a good read to gain cash game fundamentals? Are tournament, and cash game fundamentals similar, or the same? (oooh that's a good question to post.)

Thanks for your time.
