Raise more on the river. Minraising is not good.

If you're gonna bet the flop, bet it stronger. It's a huge tell that a lot of players have where they bet their draws VERY weakly.

the main reason I checked the river is that I figured I could get more $ out of him if I played it like he had the best hand. I could've bet and taken it down but I knew I could get more out of him.


as for the min raising, I'm still trying to figure out raising and reraising pricing and stuff. any pointers?

The check on the river is "ok" if you're pretty sure he'll bet.

As far as bet sizing, I usually do 3x their bet, but it also depends on what street it's on what pot size and other stuff. Here, making it $10 or $11 is MUCH better.

Firstly, you would have got more out of the hand had you have bet the flop properly. I would have bet 0.40.

As far as how much you should raise with a made hand on the river, I generally raise about 3 times their bet. However, if you can put them on a precise hand or a small range of hands (e.g. tptk or tpgk) and you think they will struggle to get away from it, I have found raising more can work. Especially if the texture of the board makes your bet look like a bluff (e.g. flush draw on the flop didn't get there). On this board though I doubt that you are getting much more out of him, I would have made it like $10.

don't check raise the river without a serious read. IE I am MP2

also we need stack sizes and any reads. For stack sizes there is a check box somewhere that needs to be checked.

oh, you I'd probably check-raise all in cause of our history. Last time I had a flush against you, you bluffed me out of the pot with a Ace high...yes, I'm still bitter about that haha
