imo standard after preflop action

i'm guessing you were disguising hand strength a lil with the smooth call preflop and you c/r the flop which was tasty

i like 100% of your action here

love the whole thing.

Yeah i think the whole thing is really standard. His range after he pots the flop I would say is like TT+ and prob AK/AQ.

I would say in a BvB battle his range is like 55+ and tons of over cards.

its rare that i 4-bet queens whether i'm in or out of position.
i just don't find it to be a good play, you are announcing that you have a big pair and you are also opening yourself up to a really tough spot when you offer your opponent the chance to reraise again, which is never a +EV spot imo

You don't announce that you have a big pair if you're willing to 3 or 4 bet with other hands as well.

And Neck is right, it does depend how deep you are.

what types of hands or is this too general of a question to really give a good response?

i do think with 100BB stacks a 4 bet is not a very good play.

AK, AQ, TT+ depends on what the villian is going to three bet with. I generally agree with you in low stakes passive games that a 4 bet tends to announce you have AA or KK, or at least it does for most players so most players assume you have AA or KK.

I have had a lot of success making people crazy by 3 and 4 betting them.

I had a guy call $80 (in a $50 NL game) preflop with JJ for example smile.gif

You don't think MP2 calling reduces his range a little? Unless he is very aggressive I still don't think he has a super-wide range here.
