I remember when I was in third grade and saw the word "neighborhood" I always sounded it out in my head as "nee high boor hood".


but then again, I was in third grade. you're in college. for the second time.

I always sound out "tuesday" as "tee-use-day" so I can remember how to spell it correctly.

Very early in my scholastic career I realized that this was wrong, but I can't stop doing it. Now I have to remember that my method of remembering the correct spelling is incorrect.

I would make fun of you, but I still, to this day, have to sound out wed ness day to spell Wednesday correctly.

I'm pretty sure the originator muffed the spelling on Wednesday, because it's spelling defies all laws of physics. "Hump" day would have been soooooo much easier.
