I just read the blog on interesting and different sports that you like watching when not at home. I've been into Aussie Rules for a while, but am too cheap to get extended cable (probably because I'm a working musician). Still, I think it is one of the most brutal, yet, entertaining sports I've ever seen. You just have to YouTube some of the "marks" to know what I mean.

FWIW Rugby League is much> than Australian Rules Football.
