Villain was like 50/11/1.5 after 30 hands. At the time, seemed like a fish who called way too much.

Do we like a value bet on the river? What do we do after we get insta c/r AI?

Not really seeing the point of betting the river here. I think it's a good check it down spot. He's called the flop w/ no draws out there, could be slow playing or calling w/ a mid pair better than yours.

I don't see worse hands paying you off here enough to put more money in, and I don't think you've repped enough strength to get 88 to lay down.

Yeah I'm almost certain he limped with a mid-pocket pair. The flop shows no draws at all and you can expect a hand like 77/88/99 to play this way. You only bet the river if you think he'll pay you off with 55 or less which is possible but after he goes all in I think we have to fold. I don't think a pocket pair lower than fives check raises all in very often.

I like betting the turn and checking behind on the river. it gives you more of a chance to fold 1010-77, lets you hear from Jx and ill sometimes give you close to the same price at showdown.

Check behind river. As played, fold.
