This was another hand, where I had no clue what was the best river-line.

Thanks to Everest-Poker for no HandHistory...

UTG @ 6max table raises to $1 (he had about $30 like me) and I call on the CO with as.gif 3s.gif. It's not a standard call from the CO and I know this. I did because I thought that if I flop big, for example Two-Pair, Flush(-Draw) I could win some money from this UTG-player. And because we both had over 100BB I thought I risk a little something.
The Button calls as well (which was not the plan, HEY I WANTED TO HAVE POSITION, SUCKER...).
Blinds fold.

Pot: $3.40 (3 players)
Flop: ah.gif 3h.gif 7h.gif

Not the best flop but hey I have my two-pair. Now UTG checks and I want to protect my Two-Pair and bet potsize. The Button (Villain, had also approx. $30 to start), calls, UTG folds.

Pot: $10.20
Turn: qd.gif

I bet potsize again and Villain calls. It's not unnormal that players here calls against the odds. So I think there is a decent chance he has Draw, maybe with the kh.gif. He also could have something like AK AQ maybe with 1 heart. I think he would have raised with a set or better Two-Pair. So I really see me in front here. My plan is to check any river card. I want him to bet his missed draws or a worse hand to make him think that I could have missed.

Pot: $30.60
River: 9h.gif

Hero checks?

Let's say I checked (which I did). Villain bets his last $15. Again, Hero?

What is your river line here as the 4th heart came up? Check-Fold?

There was no need to bloat this pot on the turn.
I would have checked -- villain's non-heart hand might have checked through, too.
I don't know how you fold two pair getting 4:1.
I don't know how you call with this board.

I thought I have to protecet my hand against his possible Draw... If I checked the turn he can check behind and get a free card to beat me right?? Tell me if I am wrong here. Is pot control better in this spot?

EDIT:

Well, we could have solved the problem by severely overbetting or pushing the flop -- that's one way to solve this hand, and it's probably a +EV move, frankly.

Come to think of it, pushing the turn prolly wasn't a bad idea either.

Pot control from the beginning is the other option here. We flooped aces up, but we're pretty frozen by our flop action getting called. Keep the pot small and see if we fill up. Any hand that we beat isn't going nutso in this pot anyway. Any hand we lose to ... well, they're going to punish us and we're drawing to 2 or 4 outs. It is easier to recover from a small loss than a big one.

As it is at the river ... I don't know how you call. I don't know how you fold aces up. I probably fold because I'm thinking "not another penny for your flush."
