Packers all the way, maybe? I'm just shooting for a playoff spot right now. They're better than the Lions and Vikings. Our offense is superior to the Bears offense, defense is a worse, but not as bad as it was last season. They'll be competitive.

We have a really good, young team this year and I like our chances judging by our play. It's a very real possibility we get past San Diego next week, and deal with another week of questioning whether or not we're for real. I'd be willing to bet we win the NFC North this year.

I didn't see the game, but as I understand it the Packers beat Philly because they couldn't catch punts. I wouldn't go crowning asses just yet.

I'm surprised how badly Green Bay beat them, but they have been spanked two weeks in a row. You have to admit the muffed punts were fortunate for your Packers.

Never would've believed that this game against San Diego would mean this much.
Greg Jennings will finally play from the looks of it, but it still looks as if half of the team is on the injury report.
Should be a great game to watch.

The Chargers have not played to their ability all season and I'm starting to think that coaching plays a much bigger part than talent. I mean ffs, the defense has blitzed like 2x through 3 quarters and the offense is just running it up the gut on 1st down every time when it's crystal clear that the Pack is keying on LT. I could call plays better than Turner and Cotrell. Frustrating as a Charger fan.

The Bears are all visiting teammates in the hospital this week, so, yeah, I'm going to sweat the lions game more. The Bears still don't have an offense, and their defense is injured.
Once the Packers O-line figures out the new zone blocking scheme, the running game will get there. Brandon Jackson does have talent. Also, just to give you an idea of how good Brett Favre still is. Imagine if he retired before the season, and we had to start Aaron Rodgers. What do you think our record would be? 0-4, 1-3, certainly not any better than 2-2.

What would happen to any team who starts what basically amounts to a rookie QB? Horrible argument for Farve, the number speak for themselves about how good he is playing.

I'm just saying I'm not sure there are more than two other QB's in the league that could do what he's doing with the little talent there is on the offense (Tom Brady, Peyton Manning). I'm not sure with them either because they've usually had a pretty reasonable amount of talent to work with.
I think it's a reasonable argument that Favre can take a team on his shoulders that should maybe be 1-3 at this point and go 4-0. I guess Aaron Rodgers is a bad comparison, but I just said him because he's there now.
Wait, why am I defending my argument? You've proven to be at least mildly retarded on so many other occasions, that I'll just condescendingly say, "ok".

You said the packers are better off with Farve over Rodgers...
That pretty much qualifies as the most retardedly obvious comment ever made on this forum. And let's be a little realistic, the Eagles playing hot potato with the football week one locked up that win, and GB's defense is playing far better than they were expected too. The offensive line has done a good job of protecting Farve and giving him time to throw. There are lots of QB's who can put up good numbers when they are getting all day to pass, Farve isn't exactly needing to force throws this year because of defensive pressure. When he has had to do that (like previous years) his numbers suffer.
Farve isn't the only reason they are winning.
