NOT FOR SALE!

Dog # 1 -- Name: Sabak (pronounced "Sawbach" like Maybach. From the pound. He's 10 years old. Sabak means dog in Russian.

Dog # 2 -- Name: Mushu (not biting off of DN, actually she was named by our friend before we adopted her.) From a friend. She's 7 years old.

Mushu is a Shar Pei and beats up on Sabak all the time. So she always wins the fights, hands down...

Nice looking place you have there. Congrats.

Did you really name your dog "dog"? And I think you mean "saybach" like "maybach", because "sawbach" sounds like "mawbach." Right?

Awesome dogs though, seriously... What's Dog? Retriever/Collie-ish? He looks like a combo of 2 of mine, who are both purebred mutts.

Couch kinda looks like an extra large version of mine.

Definitely needs a cross post.

lol, yes I did name my dog "dog". I couldn't think of a name and since my grandfather grew up in Russia he said why don't you name it Sabak. I liked it and ran with it. It's funny because when I'm at the park or something people always think I'm calling him "Starbuck".

And, my analogy of "sawbach" sounds like "maybach" is the maybach car reference. The Maybach car is pronounced "Mawbach" but spelled Maybach. I just wanted you to know that it's not pronounced "sayback".

He is a retriever/lab mix. Great personality, and very loyal.

Yeah my house is still "upside down" and not nearly finished decorating. But we have been looking at a lot of different rugs.

I thought it was pronounced as spelled, Maybach, or "Mawbach" if you have a speech impediment. I don't know, which is probably why I drive a Nissan.
Asimo
Ok, so I am now finished and all furniture has been delivered. Everything is done....except for the blinds. But here is the final product. You'll notice the new TV and Milgaurd Windows. Huge difference on the windows, if I may say.

I'll start with the new TV icon_biggrin.gif

67" Samsung HDTV LCD DLP 1080P, came with the stand from Costco for $2,499.

Everything looks great that you redid. Two comments, I cannot believe you spent all that time and money and put in a electric range, unless you don't have gas at your home.

Windows look great from the outside, but the white rot iron fence and rail work are still dating all the work you have done, I would look into fixing that, but new rot iron can be espnsive.

I agree about the wrought iron fence. Personally I would have it sandblasted and then paint it black.

Also, what kind of tile is that in the kitchen and where did you find that dining set? Plus, I see that the PS3 is still there, but you're never on.
Asimo
Yeah, we do have gas on our property but when we originally purchased the house it had an old electrical stove. We purchased the one in the picture 3 years back and since it's still so new we didn't want to spend the extra money on that. Same goes for the fridge, we purchased that like 3 years ago.

As for the wrought iron fence... We have a circular driveway with electrical gates on both sides that were there since day one. We actually did sandblast and repaint the fence on the street last year. The problem is with the wrought iron is that we have a lot of it all around the house, including RV access area and back yard (waist high). Our backyard is huge, our lot is 18,000+ Sq feet. I didn't take any pictures of it or the guesthouse because we don't have any landscaping back there. But, if we change the color or design on the front fence we would have to change it for the rest of the property, which would be kinda expensive.

As for the tile, Hmm... We bought it ourselves directly from a tile dealer, we did not have our contractor buy it for us. It is ceramic tile, but it was on close out at the dealer so we bought everything that they had left for $2.50 for the 13x13 (kitchen, dining room, bathrooms) and $3.75 for the 20x20 (living room). Then paid the contractor $2.00 / sq foot to install.

Dining room set is the Scarsdale Table, we got a 7 piece set from Wickes Furniture:

Yeah, I didn't touch my PS3 for the entire time of construction. I just now set it up when I got the TV. Plus I've been busy with business and poker that I haven't had much time to spend on it. I still have you on my buddy list though. I'll try to find you next time I log on. I still haven't purchased any new games other then Resistance and Tiger Woods '07. Can't wait for GTA 4 though, already have it on pre-order with Best Buy.
