another almsot surefire loss this week. luckily they play cleveland in week 3 so it'll be 1-2 to start. then it's at miami which could go either way. they give two weeks to prepare for a loss to the chargers.

what a way to lose. I guess it's not as bad as the bills' loss last week though. I heard all the whistles going off when they kicked so I thought, "Oh they have to redo it." Then the announcers said, "Raiders win!" so I thought the whistles were nothing. The rest is history.

My argument is....why are the Raiders better? I don't know because they didn't upgrade anything except QB, where Al Davis and/or J. Russell delayed the process so much that it cost the Raiders an entire season in development.

BTW....."Infinitely"worse = at this time 0-2 Chiefs vs. Texans and NFC champs Bears, 0-2 Raiders vs. Lions (suck forever) and Broncos(worse than Chiefs last year) (and nice first round pick on a Kicker!)

And I was on the way home last week from a water polo tournament listening to the Broncos vs Raiders game. I almost crashed three times. Once when the Raiders ran the interception back for a TD. Twice when the Broncos called timeout right before Janikowski made the kick. And third time when Janikowski missed the kick lol.

The Raiders actually almost beat SD last year. But even though LT hasn't been playing as great, he usually goes nuts against the Raiders.

I will say that they are better than I expected and will be a factor again soon, just not this year.
What the hell happened to their Run Defense? They were at the top of the league last year and now are 29/32? Is Sapp just getting too old, or new scheme or what? I was suprised by that.

I haven't paid that much attention to stats, but I don't think there run defense has ever been that good. Sapp has actually been playing good. LaDanian runs all over them every year, the dude on Miami killed them.

Oh and I was never optimistic about the Raiders this season, I knew they would be bad. I was just hoping they would be better than the Chiefs lol. They do have some stars like Kirk Morrison and others on defense, its sad to see their talent go to waste. Hopefully JaMarcus turns into a superstar or something. Still disappointed that we didn't get Vince Young 2 years ago.
