I can't even look at this Santoro guy. He looks like the poster child for botox and he is seriously creeping me out.

Sorry, had to get that off the chest.

Sorry Mods..SHIP to the sports forum..posted incorrectly.

I'm watching.... the Djokovich match (he's #3 I think) that went the longest a match has went in like 30 years or something was awesome. At the end Djokovich's opponent started dancing around like an idiot but Djoko shut him up and beat him.

Both the Blake matches that went 5 sets were good. He seems to self destruct at the end. He doesn't even look tired, he just fires off all these unforced errors at the end. In the first 5 setter that he barely squeaked out a win, he easily outmatched the other guy but still almost ate it, Blake is just a choke artist and is why he is 1-10 I think now in 5 setters.

Ferrer match was good too, he outmuscled Nadal big time. Nadal has a nagging injury, but still a good match.

Can't wait to see the odds on Venus to beat Henin. She owns her historically, but she's still gotta be the underdog, right?

I think so. Venus wasn't exactly dominant today. Henin's been playing well. She's the female Federer apparently (yea right mcenroe)

What about Roddick v Federer? Man roddick sure played well, but roger is a god. But, bravo to andy to get to two tiebreaks.

I couldn't watch it. Sounds like Roddick played about as well as he can for two sets and still couldn't get one. I wonder how many grand slams Roddick would have if Federer's mother never met his father.

well, we'd have to hope that Nadal's father didnt meet his mother either.

Then maybe Roddick would have 5 majors. He's just not nearly as consistent as those two, and he's got one thing going for him: his serve. Roddick has no backhand, and he's not nearly as accurate as a lot of those on tour. 150 mph serve will take you a little ways though. Honestly, he probably beats anyone else in the world in that Federer match nailing 71% of his first serves.
