I'm calling unless villian is a 43 year old tibetan monk who grew up as an orphan and was adopted by a wealthy eccentric multi-millionaire who taught him crime fighting and card-playing.

His shove means one of three things:

a. Villain is assuming it's a split pot and is trying to shove to make you fold if you have a 7, too.

b. Villain has two-pair and is shoving because that's how you play two-pair at a WPT final table.

c. Villain can't beat A9 and is shoving as a really, really, really, really, really low percentage bluff.

Don't agree with this. He's shoving 3k into a pot of 4150, giving us a little over 2:1 to call. For all the reasons you mentioned above, I think we have to fold here. We still have 10k left with blinds only at 75/150. That is plenty of time to wait for a better place to get our money in, especially if this is a low stakes 180, where the quality of play is usually sub-stellar.
