Villain is 23/7.7/0.2.. Haven't seen him/her get involved in any pots through 23 hands. Despite the miniscule bet size.. is there any way this is NOT an ace? Only two hands I've seen showdown are AJo which he/she preflop raised from the cutoff, and QJo which was limped in from the CO.

Knowing that villain isn't loose.. is leading out the flop okay?

It's tempting to pay it off, but I think you're beat most of the time. He's not folding to a push either. It looks like he's trying to get the rest of his stack in slowly.

I played a hand horribly last night with QQ on a similar flop, I decided I didn't believe him because his bets were weak, lego cat was wrong.

I also think leading the flop is fine, but I shut it down if he calls.

Edit - given how little he raises preflop I don't even know if I bet this flop unless you think he'll fold KK or QQ, we beat nothing in his range.

Yeah.

Bear in mind I play exclusively live, but in this spot, I c-bet +95% of the time and TID at the flop +60% of the time.

And the turn bet is almost but not quite small enough to call and fish for a J on the river.

Button only has 1.10 behind, he's not getting enough implied odds to call if he's behind.

When deciding on the turn, I pretty much assumed he bet 2.70 since that's how much I'd be committed for anyways if I decided my hand was good enough to call.

Oh shit. I thought all stacks in play were essentially equal. .... well .... I dunno .... this is why I push hands like JJ into shorties PF.
VernonME
not too fond of the preflop raise, his preflop raise was already 5x the bb, flop action was fine, fold the turn
sabes99
i think you gotta raise a little more pf, probably to $1.75 or so

turn should be a fold, it is an ace >90% of the time
