Full Version: River Bet Sizing?

I had played one decent sized pot with Villain previously where I kind of noted hes a bit of a calling station. It is noted here. He also may have been getting frustrated by the player to his left who was lagging it up so much and being just a general nuisance..How much do you think I should bet on the river? I'm really not sure what to put him on, but I think it is a possibility for him to have an Ace here since he did float in the previous hand. I, however, didn't take that into account too much during the hand because I'm slow.

Here is our previous hand. He had AK

I think I'd bet about 90% or the full pot on the river of both hands. I'd also bet about 8~ on the turn of the second hand. Rest is fine.

I think you have to put more teeth in both hands at the river. You let him off easy both times.

I bet enough to put him all-in. It looks he has about the size of the pot left, so I just bet all of it. There is a 0% chance he folds an ace.

And also less of a chance that he thinks you have one since there are 2 of them on board.

Bet big on those aces. the beauty of the ace coming out is it makes your play simple. If he has an ace, you're taking whatever you are willing to bet. If he doesn't, you probably wern't gonna get much anyway. I would have bet larger on the turn. As for the river, you need to bet big. How much? If you bet big and he doesn't have an ace, he's probably folding. but the fact is, if he does have an ace, he is not folding to ANY bet. Shove! If he has an ace, you're taking his whole stack
