Villian is sort of a TAG who switches up to LAG every now and then. Most often when he bets, he means it, though he is capable of making a move. We had just played a Deepstack HU tournament style PLO, PLO8, NLHE rotation game and he tried a sick bluff on me after about the 4th level by raising preflop with 45o and 5bet shoving a Ax 3h 7h board. I had AJhh though
Anyway, the hand.
Hero is Button with ~11.50
Villian is BB with ~8.50
Hero is dealt Q
Hero raises to 0.30
Villian instantly says raise and makes it $1.
Hero calls.
Pot: $2
Flop: A
Villian counts out a bet and makes it $1.65.
At this point I'm really not sure where I'm at but the weird bet confuses me. He could have pretty much 88-AA, AJ+ and maybe even be cbetting a solid queen (QJ or KQ). There is also the rather small chance that he's blowing up on me again, but I would doubt it after he already has once.
Hero calls.
Pot: $5.3
Turn: Q
Villian shoves.
It's $5.85 back to the hero?
He's smart enough to know I could have a Queen or even a flush here, for that matter he could have KQ or QJs or a flush. There is also the small chance he could have flopped a boat or top two and just be hoping I have a big piece of it. Am I always calling this?
