1/2 NL live.
Royal (hero) has been pwning the table for the hour that he's been there.
hero 750
villain 200
Villain is an old man with some weird shiit goin on. he's loud and shakey, and really kinda crazy. sucks at poker. calls everything and anything.
We had battled a few times in this time i've been here, and there has been a little smack talk between us.
REMEMBER! old man calls almost anything he thinks is decent. he thinks Top pair no kicker ,is the nuts.
Ok. hand time.
hero is UTG with KdKh
Villain is UTG+1
hero raise 15. (table was kinda loose), villain call. everyone gets out of our way and folds.
flop
5c, 7c, 8d
hero bet 25. Villain actually starts muttering somethng and is like "ohh i gotta check here.. as he mutters to himself" and he lifts his hand, his hands are shaking cuz of some issue he has, his vision must also be bad,
I didnt even have to look over, He was directly on my left, and as i looked down at my cards
Boom! there they were. his hand in clear sight as he re-checked his cards
Villain holds the Jc 6c. has a FD and OESD. on this flop vs my hand, he a little better. mostly a coin flip though.
he calls the 25.
now turn is a 2d
whats my line?? I'm like a 65/35 type fav here i believe. and obv i dont make any money if his river is a blank.
Who just shovels this? we're pretty certain we're gonna get called.

If we're gonna get called then it's an easy shovel.

LOL thats a brutal flop. Shoving all day long though since you know he's calling and you're a 2:1 favorite.
But, before you shove, mutter something under your breathe (but loud enough for him to hear) to the extent of, "This guy must have J6 of clubs or something..." He'll probably puke on the table. People get scared when you start calling their cards out randomly. He'll probably avoid playing another hand with you ever again hahah.

that doesn't mean anything to you probably.. he's got $160 behind on the turn and the pot is (did you raise 15 or to 15?) is about $97
SHOVEL.. If he's going to auto call then it should be easy being a 66/34 favorite

I like the shove knowing you're nicely ahead and sure to be called. If you are pwning overall the worst that happens is he gets lucky here and you win it back later.
I also like c/c followed by an open farrell when the draw hits. Actually if he will call a bet with a busted draw, I really like this line, maybe you don't stack him but so much more fun.

Easy answer, shove when your ahead! Fold out of turn when your not

Given that there is no river betting unless he rivers a jack and decides to call, it's a one street game. You know he's calling any bet, so your aim is simply to make the most money on this street.
You make the most money by betting as much as possible to price him out as best you can. Shovel.

For some reason this made me lol, probably harsh.
Also, Shovel.

We shove. If we thought he could bluff the river, then I'd bet smaller.

Shove everything besides 5-10 bucks then fold river if he hits and push if he misses. He'll have to call with J high getting massive odds ldo.
