Nice callback.

Pete really ****ed up with the gambling and lying stuff. He'd be so good for baseball today.

I'd love for Pete to be the manager for Barry Bonds. I think he'd have something to say about him going into the homerun trot every time he hits the ball more than 300 feet.

Pete would smack Bonds up for that. I read Pete's book "My Prison Without Bars" on vacation. I hate reading but I read the whole thing in like 2 days. It was a really good book. I always admired Pete's play but the book made me love his play.

On a side note it is Weds and I am bored at work. WTF ZOMG cubicles.

I lost $275 in 6 hands (actually, the money was lost of 3 of them) at .5/1 PLO on FT. One mistake, one cooler and one massive draw that didn't outrun a set.

On an unrelated note, I now have no more money online smile.gif

I like people, but i've been running really badly in general this year. I am thinking about making up some kind of challenge ladder for myself where I start with like $2000 or something and play 1/2 or 1/3 NL until I get to $5000, then I play 2/5 until I get to $10,000 and then I go back to playing 5/10 NL. Just something where I have distinct goals in mind I guess. I've put in way too many hours this year to only be up as little as I am right now.

I really want to get down to foxwoods more, the 1/2 $300 max is soo soft. Everytime I got down there though I get coolered.

overpair vs open ended straight draw allin on the flop

underfull vs trips allin on the flop

two pair vs overpair allin on the flop

I think I need to stop going allin on the flop....

They are never a good start to anything except seeing your dinner by the end of the night. Last time I had a lot of those I would have rather been dead than wake up the next morning.

I just got a bad taste in my mouth thinking about it.

I left my house with the goal of Post Office, DMV and to get my vehicle's registration taken care of (since it expired the night Zach got kicked out of the IP). Here's what I accomplished:

DMV is located at 1067 62nd Ave. Well, there's a 1051 and then a 1101. Hmmm. Check the old internet on the Treo. 1067 62nd Ave S., not 1067 62nd Ave N. Not enough time to get there and I need to go there before I go deal with my plate, so scratch off two goals.

The Post Office line was too long to get my certified letter. I did drop off a mortgage payment, though. That didn't go as badly as it could've. But wait...!

I dropped my phone in the mailbox with the letter I sent out.

I did manage to pick up bananas, though. So, to recap:

GOALS:

DMV, REGISTRATION, CERTIFIED LETTER

RESULTS:

BANANAS, LOST PHONE

DON'T BE RESULTS-ORIENTED, PEOPLE!

EDIT: I shouldn't post this in response to the original question since it's not quite the end of my day seeing as how I woke up at 2PM.

Well, I went to bed this morning around 5 am, and woke up around 1:30. I had a class at 2 and the drive is half a hour to the school. So instead of bolting out the door, I took a long shower and ate some leggo my eggos. Walked out the door at 2:01. Showed up excruiating late for a Religion/Science debate in my philosophy class and my professor singled me out for being late and asked my opinion. I succeeded in making half the room want to crucify me. And I'm fairly certain the only reason the other half didn't was because they were asleep or listening to ipods.

I did meet a hot girl that was sitting next to me in another class though - which was the only thing today I did today that was +EV. I came home and took a nap and now I'm headed back to the school to have a 3 hour Geology Lab. GO ROCKS!

Yeah, that's too bad. sad.gif

Changing subjects, though, how'd you do in your heads up match?

Four people need to cross a rickety rope bridge to get back to their camp at night. Unfortunately, they only have one flashlight and it only has enough light left for seventeen minutes. The bridge is too dangerous to cross without a flashlight, and it’s only strong enough to support two people at any given time. Each of the campers walks at a different speed. One can cross the bridge in 1 minute, another in 2 minutes, the third in 5 minutes, and the slow poke takes 10 minutes to cross. How do the campers make it across in 17 minutes?

The slow guy rides on the fast guy's back and yells, "Faster, faster, you fool, you fool!"?
They throw the flashlight back?
****. I'm not smart enough to work at google.

EDIT: I'm pretty sure this is right, so I'm going to spoiler it. Also, they'd run out of their 17 minutes of battery life just trying to figure this out.

Maybe they need to write things down.

MAYBE they're deaf! They can't see each other's sign language without the flashlight!

I know sign language.
