I thought it'd be pretty hard to argue with. The only difference is that mtdesmoines is NOT drunk while having said intercourse with his blood relative, so it's a little different, but I think we can't allow one without allowing the other.

Access stops working properly after it reaches a certain size.
Also, PostgreSQL is easier to manipulate (split, merge, backup, etc.)

Right now I am watching a DVD about a crazy musician that has released 31 albums since the early 70's from his house in East Texas, but until 2004 had never been seen by the public, and the only way to get his albums was to mail a check to a PO box in Texas.
2004 he did a live performace
Jandek's First live Performace The live performace is especially horrible LOL.

It seems that the other pros (and also Sam Grizzle) agree with what Phil's saying (even though they wish he would just show down so they can get on with it).

perhaps it's my disliking of Hellmuth for being a crybaby whiner that I really don't care about it all that much...but IMO, if Phil doesn't want to muck then fine, he's gotta show his cards before the other guy has to show his hand.

Koop is great but he loves arguing lol
I agree it is bad etiquette to make Phil show his hand. But then again Phil calls people idiots and does tons of horrible etiquette maneuvers. He claimed he was going to have all this power in poker for god sakes.
I say make Phil show his hand but don't make the fish show his.

so in keeping with the fat bastard theme that we've apparently become...
I decided to start keeping track of caloric intake while I'm at work to see how I can perhaps lighten up. By 10am yesterday I had already eaten half of my alloted calorie target...damn chocolate milk! I'm only keeping track of what I eat snack/drink-wise since I don't really have a way to get nutritional info for food I cooked but I think it'll help me cut down on garbage @ the office.
if anyone wants a copy of the sheet for themselves, let me know and I can send it - just an excel doc with a pivot table, nothing fancy.

David,
I've never played big live games, the biggest I've played is 15/30, but at ANY level of poker, if I call a bet, I'm waiting for my opponent to either show me his hand, or muck his hand before I show mine. If he mucks his hand, I'm holding my two cards in my hand until the pot has been shipped to me, and then tossing them in the muck.
I don't recall exactly what the argument was on PAD, but I think it went like, JRB calls, Hellmuth says he's mucking, and waited for JRB to show his hand. Hellmuth is the first to act in the showdown order. He needs to make a decision to muck or show his hand. If he shows, JRB needs to show to win the pot.
IMO, there's no more to it than that. Do I recall Hellmuth saying that JRB had to show his hand to win it, if he wanted to muck? Because that's ludicrous. Hellmuth wanted info from JRB without showing his own hand, which he would have to do, in the correct order of showdown.
