Obv the best way to do it is be healthy, but it will be more difficult. If there's money on the line, follow my strategy and add copius consumption of alcohol, on the stretch run buy some steroids so you can keep more water weight etc.
If you wanted to go the healthy route, I would actually take my fewer meals but gluttoness advice. You likely have super high metabolism and eating many small meals helps increase. Also, putting on weight by adding muscle is difficult, granted muscle is heavier than fat, muslce burns more calories/day than fat, so your caloric intake needs to be higher.
I would just lift, buy some whey protein, and eat a calorie heavy diet. Eat lots of beef, poultry, and fish. Those all are high in protein, same with shrimp, and some others. Protein will build the sh
it out of muslces, but basically all my friends that I know have never wanted to gain weight, it's more like shed fat add muscle. So my diet plan might not be accurate.
