would love too but the wife is in grad school and if i don't bring in a steady income for the next 24 months then i probably lose my house, car, etc. so maybe in 24 months but probably not. i actually just tallyed my cashouts from stars this year and i brought home really close to 5 figures which amazed me being i never played higher than 1/2 NL on there. i don't have much to show for it though as i put most of those winnings into my wedding in one way or the other and the rest went to pay off some debt or wile out like Nick Cannon.

stars sent me this sick ass email that had an attachment of all my transactions (cashout, deposit, transfer, bonuses etc.) for as long as my account has been active. it was really nice. it was funny to see that i had about 1K in deposits of $50 the first year that i played then something clicked and i haven't had a real deposit (other than a transfer via neteller) in 3 years. Without this forum and learning BR management this woulda never happened.

I got called a nit by a guy with 5 posts (all in that thread i think) for suggesting that folding Q8o out of the SB is the best play. As if they have no concept that 5-1 or 7-1 preflop pot odds doesn't mean that you win the pot 1 out of 5 times or 1 out fo 7 times.

oh well i just thought it was a nice first for a strat post in our main forum to debate with DN cause i definitely think his play is questionable.

i do think the turn is a bet. preflop im undecided, slightly swayed by DN.

Honestly, I think this might be profitable or might not be profitable for a world class player. I don't think 1) it's profitable for a good, winning player or 2) Daniel really knows whether he's profitable from the SB in these spots online.

I don't say that disrespectfully, obviously, but I doubt he knows whether he's winning or losing from the blinds; rather, since he's a winning player overall, it masks that leak. I might be wrong. I asked him if he had PT or was willing to try PT and he didn't respond.

Live, though, is entirely different and I have no doubt he can play junk OOP profitably.

Instead, before you go on the show, sell your friends shares so that you can play optimally with the knowledge that your payout is guaranteed.

I actually have a poker related question, so try not to be too angry. I just got Poker Tracker like a week ago and started playing online again, on Absolute, starting at $25nl. Weeee. Anyways, I have stats on about 5,000 hands and I want to see where I stand, some general leaks just by looking at stats.

I started as a rating of an Eagle, tight and aggressive, then Jay went over some hands with me and I decided to start isolating limpers more. This worked a lot and my winrate started to shoot up. I think I may have gone too far though, as my rating is now a bomb (ultra-aggressive)! When I used the PokerEV graph, I'm running very slightly bad, basically how I should run, but the numbers are negative! So basically I'm getting it in bad a decent bit, but still winning because of all the money I pick up w/o showdown.

Stats: 20.6/17.8/6.6. I'm kind of worried about my aggression factor. I'm not sure what aggression factor means, but the breakdown of my AF for flop, turn and river is 10.88, 4.33, and 1.88. Right now I'm running at about 8bb/100. Not sure if that's gonna come down or not.

Any insight is appreciated.

I read an article once that analyzed a bunch of datamined data from a bunch of different databases, to see what styles were the biggest winners/losers. slightly-loose aggressive and ultra-agressive where 1/2, followed by TAG (eagle)... calling stations and moneybags where last. Hope that helps.

Oh... and wow, your aggression numbers are sick high. My guess you are cbetting EVERY hand, and/or possibly donking OOP a lot too. Better players (probably at higher limits) will eventually be able to take advantage of this, but erroring on the aggressive side is usually not a huge leak. It is also good you are backing it up on the turn. From the looks of those numbers alone, my guess is you are a very annoying person to have to play against.

The Jags organization was constructed to compete with and beat the Steelers. Even after the realignment and leaving the AFC Central, Jax has lost none of that core philosophy, and are probably the one team in the league that best matches up with the Steelers, position for position.

I really wish the Steelers had won Sunday, and sent the Jags to NE. Jax is one of a couple teams in the league right now that can beat NE.

It was nice we made the playoffs and it has been a good year, but we're outmanned and spinning downward, not peaking and fast willie busted his leg and Ben is hurting.

Good first year for a new coach, but losing the last game and lining up to play Jax and NE was a disaster.
