0-3.

Seneca Niagara Casino. It's on the American side of the Falls. About an hour and 20 minutes from me, Tstone is like 2 hours and 20 minutes. I have 3 $1 Turning Stone chips though, which tilts the hell out of me and will force me to go back.

I lost a $100 dollar chip at TS. True story.

Or wait, I thought I did until I got home (2.5 hours away) and found it in my hoodie pocket.
I went back to play with it a few weeks later, and lets just say that I wish I had just completely lost it.

Also, another funny story from TS: I won a pot off of this lunatic tilt box after I "sucked out on him." After the hand he shoved his chips into the middle of the table after I beat him, and one $1 chip flew off the table behind me. The guy behind me at a different table heard this, and turned around. I guess he thought I didn't notice the chip fly off the table, so he scooped it up and put it in his stack. I waited for a few seconds for him to maybe get a honest moment and return it, but he didn't.

As I got up to leave, I walked by his table and skeefed 2 $1 chips off of his stack of whites quickly shoving them in my pocket and said "Nice try, buddy." He gave me a sly "Yeah, I'm a scumbag smile" and I wandered off. Now that is +EV.

Hhahahah that's pretty funny.

I found a $50 bill on the ground under me at Tstone once. It was before they had the new room and when they had extra tables in the bar/lounge area (Fontana, maybe?) My buddy saw it but didn't want the bad luck of a $50. Suffice it to say I was none to worried about that bs.

I am positive I had a losing session, but it felt like a winner. Also at Seneca while waiting for a game and sitting in a couch I found $350 in the couch. Now I'm pretty scummy. If it was $50ish I would have brought it to the desk. If it was 1k+ I would have taken the money and gone home without playing. I brought $1200 that day. Added the $350 and my buddy paid me back $300 at the casino, for a total of $1850 to start the day. I walked out with $50 in my pocket.

Karma sucks.

I actually have switched to an undisclosed fish tank smile.gif My roll is currently in check form coming from Stars which is why I am kind of broke... I did however win a million seat and turn that into $270 real dollars with some FPP's so who knows maybe I will keep some money on there.

BTW the FPP sats on Stars are suuuuuper soft they have a 400 point rebuy that people play with one bullet... it is sooo great.

Also, mbn to have a $100 chip from TS. I've only had one winning session there. The only two important hands: One: my AA v AKss AIPF, I dodge eleventy brazillion outs on the flop. Second: set over set on a 543 board, I had 55, other guy had 44, no chop. I win about $200 in that one hand and leave a couple minutes after.

Yeah thats pretty much how I feel too. I've had 2 winning session at Turningstone over the last year playing 100, and 200 max but I've been there about 6 times during that span. The games are so juicy, the players are so ****ing bad, but everytime I drive 2 hours out of my way to play cards with suckers, some moron gets hit in the face with the deck at my table, and I get dealt J3o every hand.

The only times I've made money there was a time I sat at 100 max for 4 hours and was never all-in, and never saw a turn card. I just won little pots and ended up $200. The other time I was playing $200 max, I played one big hand where a maniac who was waiting for the 10/20 NL game to open sat at my table and the third hand he was there put me AIPF with 44 and I fistpumpinstacalled with JJ and flopped Jack's full. Ended up being up $180 after 5 hours. I just feel like I could win a cool grand in 5 or 6 hours at that place if I ever could stop running cold.

Heh, I wasn't initially when I went (played cash), but I wanted to try making some quick money by playing a $100+$20 SnG (where they do ask for ID, I needed to get the Red Label Card). I was the first guy out after about 40 minutes - got uber short with about 4 BB's at, um, 100/200, pushed Q2o UTG, called in two spots, flop AAA, guy who was on my left bets the turn (a blank), I'm drawing dead to Quads weeeeeeee, river is an insulting and meaningless Queen. Such a shitty structure in those things...

I only played that SnG because I was -100 @ 1/2 in two hands. Layed down a 10 high flush in one hand, 4 hearts on board. A couple hands later, I get 43o, flop a gutshot on a J high board, turn J, I push about $35 in, river gives it to me. Guy shows down quads.

Marchant: stop complaining!

lol @ my co-worker's husband (he plays poker)

A little preface about my co-worker. She's a bitch. She is the type of person that will act nice with you one minute, and not talk to you for weeks the next. She tells me all the time about how much money he makes at Ameristar casino from playing poker, and that he never loses...blah blah blah. She's full of shit and so is her husband of course.

I just asked her how their trip to Vegas (for a wedding) went recently. I asked her if he was bringing home the benjamins or something lame like that, and her response was, "Hmm, well no. He really didn't make much money, but he didn't lose much either. He played alot though. After this trip, we've both decided we really don't like Vegas anymore, its just not that fun."

LOL!

Translation: He lost his ass, realizes he sucks and doesn't want to go back to Vegas because theirs nothing to do but gamble.

lol @ my co-worker's husband (he plays poker)

A little preface about my co-worker. She's a bitch. She is the type of person that will act nice with you one minute, and not talk to you for weeks the next. She tells me all the time about how much money he makes at Ameristar casino from playing poker, and that he never loses...blah blah blah. She's full of shit and so is her husband of course.

If I had a nickel for every time I've heard this story from somebody...

The world is full of fantastic players who never lose but for an odd reason suddenly "get bored with it"

I hate those ppl, and I'm happy the bitch got put in her place smile.gif

Understood... just try to keep to games that are in your range that are +EV smile.gif

1/2NL is pretty fking donktastic, even if you only have 1 buyin.

Obv - I'm a Stud specialist though. I heard there's quite a bit of it at Foxwoods - I might skip the spread limit games and go straight to 5/10 if I ever get up there (provided I haven't moved to Vegas or California by then.) Not really rolled for it, but I feel that I'm very +EV in a lot of Stud games (if I'm not mistaken, the play should be equivalent to the .50/1 or 1/2 Stud games online), so I don't mind gambling a bit.

Yeah, I think I've only ever played in one decent tournament for less than my wallet size before: A 100 + 20 or something at Turningstone of all places. But now they changed to structure at that dyke of a Casino, so everything is a turbo. The place is a ****ing dump.

They have SnG's now? I was up there over the summer for the Heartland Poker Tour, don't recall seeing them, but, then again, I was also busy breaking even at 2/4 LHE over a 4 hour timespan (brought $150, was only down $10 or so), got rivered by J3 when I button raised A7, AJx flop, turn blank, river 3. After that, I tilted my ass off and lost my entire buyin in about an hour by raising blind every hand.

I was doing real good before that though - had 66 my first hand of the session (6 on flop), got 4-bet by JJ when I held KK (that would've been AIPF if it was NL - I also asked if the guy had 10's or something after the hand was over), then a few hours later, I had bottom set against top 2 on a 4Q9 flop (I missed a few bets on this one, but the board was scary enough for both hands that it completely paralyzed any action - was showing flush, royal/str8 flush, and straight draws by the river.) With the possible exception of the 6's (where everyone check/folded to my flop bet - I showed for table image purposes), I make a few hundred easy if that's an NL game.
