So, a couple interesting NL hands from today, that really do not require any strategy, so I'll toss them in here.
First of all, as we all know, I lost all my money playing pit games, cuz I rule the world. Mostly, it was due to have at least 40 drinks on no sleep, and no food. But I digress.
So I borrow $600 from Mikey for this 1/2 $300 max game at the Venetian. I sit down, and like my 6th or 7th hand, I'm dealt

in the BB. Bunch of limpers, I check.
Flop is

That's pretty good, right? I lead $8, one guy calls, this moron minraises to $16, I make it $60 to go, caller folds, and the other guy calls.
Turn is the

Ok, I hit my flush, but I went from the 2nd nuts to the 3rd nut flush and a lot more combos beat me. Oh well. I stick in a stack of reds, dude instacalls.
River is the

I imagine he's got a set/boat some portion of the time, but I've got $125ish left in a $330 pot, so I'm obv not going anywhere, so I stick it without much hesitation. He sighs, calls, and says, hope you didn't have a set on the flop, and flips over

. Sighhhhhhhhhhhh. So right away, I'm out half of my borrowed money.
I don't know why I run so bad at live NL. I've played maybe 4-5 sessions in my life now, and I'm probably down like 7-8 buyins. It's silly.
Another hand, I reraised with QQ huge, get two callers, lmao, flop is 567, one club, original raisers sticks it for a bit less than the pot with Tc7c, other guy folds, so I call, and he runs out clubs. Sigh.
So, anyways, I get stuck like $500 total, managed to work the shortstack a bit(which is so stupid cuz it's a ****en cash game, but between Mikey and I, we're down like 6 buyins in this game, and have no cash left to buyin with), finally I get troyomac to top me back up to $300, and I get AA twice in a span of maybe 30-40 mins, and flop top set each time, and get a bunch of action, but each time when I'd stick it, or make my big bet, they'd tank for ever and finally fold. Bah. Got me back up a bit, but I gave some back to troyo when I flopped top pair in a pretty big pot, I'll recount it next, cuz I actually think I did misplay it here.
So, I'm sitting on almost $500, Troyo covers.
Mikey makes it $10, Ray calls, I call, like 3 others call. I was 2nd last in terms of position on the flop, which comes

. I have

, btw.
It checks to Mikey, and he checks, troyo leads for $40, which he had been doing a lot when the preflop raiser had checked to him, and I don't think he needed a strong hand here, even into 5 others, as he'd been playing quite lag, but playing very well. Anyways, basically, I go back to my limit training, and bump it to $120 because, with my reasoning being that I'd like to protect my hand vs the players behind me. Folds back to Ray and he calls. At this point, I think I'm probably done with the hand, as it's hard to tell if I'm ahead vs a flush draw, or behind vs a monster.
Turn is the

, and Ray checks. I check behind. River is the

and we check it down again. Ray shows

and takes the pot down.
What do we think of my flop play here? Mikey is saying it should just be a call, and I probably agree with him. Ray should have stuck the flop, btw. Apparently, he read me for a massive nit, and assumed I never had worse than a set.

Anyways, back to more awesome hands.
Limped pot, like 6 ways, flop is 222, checks around, turn is a 9, checks around again, river is an Ace, putting three spades out as well.
Dude on my right leads for $10, I muck my jack high, lol, this other guy minraises to $20. This girl makes it $40 out of nowhere. Back to the dude on my right... he thinks, and calls $30 more. The guy on my left bumps it again, to $50 or $60 (I forget exactly), the girl sticks it for like $20 or 30 on top of that. Back to the dude on my right again... he calls AGAIN, and then the dude on the left eventually just calls (the girls shove was enough for him to reraise, IIRC).
Anyways... probably the funniest show down ever... dude on my left shows A3 for the boat... girl shows A9 for the boat... dude on my right shows a FLUSH!!! LMAOOOOOOOOOOO

So anyways, this is my second NL session of the day today. I was stuck almost $500 the first session, and come back now after dinner with Mikey and Troyo, by myself to try to grind it out and make some back... so, naturally, I play for 2 hours and literally the only pot I win is the blinds when I have AA. Sigh. I had such a nitty image though, cuz I literally had J2o about 15 times in that span, and so on. Later, I ended up taking down a 6-way pot from the button when I bet with 2nd pair, lol. Big win for me there. Anyways, I'm stuck another $200 or so, and reload to the max, as usual (as mikey recovered a bit earlier, and gave me more money after dinner

).
I pick up

on the button and limp along in a multiway pot. Flop is 56J rainbow, and that same dude from my left in the 222 hand bets out $10 and we get one caller. I bump it to $30, and he reraises to $60, and the caller folds.
I hollywood a bit, but decide what I'd rather do here. Since I'm in position, I'm calling and sticking it over his turn bet, since I have about $230 left, and he covers. Anyways, turn is a J, and he immediately sticks it for like 2x the pot, lmao.
I obviously instacall, since QQ is not in his range, and he never has JJ there.
He flips over QJ and somehow I hold, and finally get up on the day.

Those are my fun hands, and very long story that I'm sure none of you read. Peace!
