5/10 HU LHE is too soft, and I really just got to the BR I'd like to have for it, plus I'm heading to Vegas on Dec 10th for a week, so I'll be taking a bunch of cash for that.

For 10/20 HU, I'd probably want to wait for a 20k BR to play seriously, maybe take some shots at 15k.

I'm sitting right around $10,689.11 when you include pending RB and ARPs, all of which convert to cash easily and quickly.

I'll probably be taking out 3k or so for Vegas though, although anything I come back with will either go back into the roll, or I'll just keep on hand for expenses, most likely the latter.

So, for now, I'm probably gonna be staying at 5/10 HU, which is ok by me, considering I can make like $130/hr single-tabling.

I was playing 9/18 at the Venetian in June, so 10/20 isn't a jump.

I'd actually be rolled for 15/30 full ring, especially a live game, although I'm not bringing my entire roll with me, but in theory... lol.

Btw, David, since you missed it, lol, I've been playing 5/10 HU LHE for the maybe a month and a half, and doing very well, and I'm having the best month of my life, and hoping to run decent in the last few days and hit 5 figures for the first time ever.

I haven't played more than 100 hands of 6-max in the last two months or so, between my most recent, failed NL experiment, and playing HU LHE.

Yeah I woke up this morning and saw that he died and was a little ill. To think in just one night that that shit can happen is pretty ridiculous. I didn't really like him as a person (he was a piece of trash to be honest) but as a player, there was almost no better athlete and it's sad we won't get to see his play improve and perhaps his attitude get better with age.

I actually started to think about how rare it is for a Pro-Athlete to die young just about a year ago, and then Darrent Williams died, and now this, both related to shootings. It's just crazy. Just thinking about how tomorrow your fan favorite could be shot and killed is sort of disturbing.

I really try to exercise the best game selection I can.

If the villain is even remotely competent, and throws in some trickiness and aggression, I'll usually just quit him, and wait for the next loose passive or weak tight moron.

Yea, making decent money is all about game selection, which is something thats more apparent to me going out to play 1-2 NL at the B^M than ever before. Just remember that when you head out to Vegas. Don't sit at the 1-2 tables where there's alot of young players (prob internet players) but look for the ones with the old farts. You'll probably have your pick of juicy tables though which is good.

In my experience, the old farts are tougher than the kids. I'm really looking for that one boisterous idiot.

True enough... I can't win. When we were in Vegas I was wearing my Michigan cap earlier in the week while playing and I was getting 10-15 questions a day about what the big blue M was for. The only people who recognized it were people from Michigan or OSU fans

You shouldn't then Actually, the last time i played 1-2 there was this internet player that was so so super LAG.....i would check it to him every street and he'd do my betting for me....i ended up making like $200 off him alone during my session....but the ones that aren't as LAG but know when to make strong Cbets and PF raises are the ones that give me fits and not as much action so i tend to avoid them.
