What are you talking about? Berating people live is the best thing you can do for action, and not just from the person you're berating.

I say be an asshole to everyone and be happy with the idiot calls it creates.

You wouldn't say anything live, right?

Are you kidding? If I have anything to say to anyone at a table, I walk away and mumble about it to myself somewhere away from the table. I never do that when playing live.

Ask my friend Jason. We played the 5/10 together A LOT and he would berate people and if I was sitting next to him I'd just tell him to STFU and stop telling them how badly they played.

I only even said that because he had already mocked a few of my earlier plays and I kinda wanted to get him back. Mostly financially, but I liked the needle too.

Combination, I think. If he's got a huge hand, we've got big implied odds. If he doesn't have the ace or a big hand, we can probably take the pot away on the turn. I doubt Acid makes this call OOP.

In the 2nd one, you hand looks 100% like a flush draw. The flush gets there and he overbet shoves for like 3.5x the pot. You have basically the lowest possible flush. I think that's a pretty standard fold as well.

one big hand three hands in,

I three bet AK preflop guy calls, I check raise him allin on an A high flop and he calls with AQ.

Made a set of threes, but won the minimum because I out in a healthy check raise on the flop on the driest board in history. I should have called and then checked raised the turn and he would have been pot commited.

After that I got rivered in a $130 pot by the dreaded A high flush draw.

Had to fold 44 preflop when it went raise, reraise, allin preflop. The flop was A44 and I would have had a big hand.

For the rest of the night I would flop top pair, I would bet the flop and the turn, the flush draw would hit and someone would push and I would fold.

Ended up $20 down on the night after be up $200 at my peak.

It was fun meeting Mark and Nutzbuster and Gilbertology though. all really cool dudes.

Packers vs. Cowboys in Big D. I personally don't think it's going to be as good of a game as a lot of people. I think maybe 35-21 Dallas with GB getting a garbage score. Dallas' D is starting to really show up over the last couple of weeks.

I'm actually originally from near Philadelphia, which makes even less sense smile.gif

Now I don't like you on principle. Mostly for the same reason that I'm a Giants fan and I don't like tskillz during football season cause he's a hardcore Eagles fan. smile.gif

He should've just played it like a man and shoved that flop. FD and a gutter and he check/calls all of his chips off on the turn? Morons!

I was wondering that, I insta closed the table and didn't get the hand history, I thought he might have picked up the flush on the turn or something.

He just called with the flush draw and a gutter.... Blah

Oh, right, yes. How could I forget. He KNEW he was rivered the nut straight after missing his FD.

Yeah, Nate. The flop was like K9x with 2 spades and he had QTss.

God dammit!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I lost my fantasy football game this week by 0.07 points. That is eqivalent to 4 yds passing, 1.4yds rushing, or any other statistic in the league. SOOOOOOOOO TILTED!!!!!!!!

Because of that loss I'm currently in 6/10, if I won I'd be in 2/10. UGHHHHHHHHH.

Now this week is hell for me, I have 6 legit WRs and know I'm going to start the wrong ones. So who would you start, you get to pick 3 (I'll leave Javon Walker out because he probably won't play).

Andre Johnson, Deion Branch, Greg Jennings, Brandon Marshall, DJ Hackett. We start 3WRs in my league.

Marhsall, Jennings, Hackett if other two don't play

Marshall, Jennings, Branch if he plays

It's really tough for me because Marshall gets more "looks" than Jennings. He consistently gets 7-10 receptions a game and we play a 1/2 point per reception. Jennings gets TDs like crazy, but he doesn't usually go off for more than 4 catches. I wouldnt be surprised for Jennings to get me 2 catches for 27 yds.

Now Hackett has scored in both games that he's been back and I'm worried that he might overtake Branch even if Branch is healthy.

I'm definitely starting A Johnson. But I can see reasoning for starting any of the other 4. Any reasoning behind who you like most, or does anything change knowing that it's .5/rec league?

Points for receptions is sooo ghey. I had a league like that once back when the raiders passed every down. It was .5 for a completion too. Friggin Rich Gannon could beat a whole team by himself.

QB does not get points for completions. Only the WR gets points. I kind of like it because it evens things out between RB and WR and doesn't make it such a RB dominated league. What people don't really understand though is that so many WRs put up comparable numbers that RBs still are most valuable, so there is my value in the league.

That being said I'm now 5-5 and want to die.
