I watched a play at the end of a Vikings game where a ref announced that the Vikings challenging a fumble wasn't a challangable play. This, after the announcers went on forever about how they had to challenge it.
I dunno, maybe the refs screwed up, but that was only like 2-3 weeks ago.

Speaking of idiots and email chains...
So I do a video demo of how to go through the process with sticky notes with arrow pointing to every action (click or keyboard press) they have to take...
Then they wanted to "print" a copy, so I went through and took every frame with a note and made a pdf file.
Then in the email chain... twice, requested ME to print a copy, claiming they couldn't print it. I ignored the first one, then they asked again... instead of saying "I'm NOT ****ING KINKOS" I just replied with a screen shot of the document properties with a red box around "Security: None" and another around "Printing: Allowed"
I swear if they ask again I'm going to do a vid demo of how open the PDF and go to file->print

So the robot started discussing NASCAR racing , the latest basketball

The guy had to try it one more time. So the next day he returned.

actually i would. when i get up quickly like that i almost always finish with a winning session. it does something to me mentally where i play better ABC pokah. when i get down quickly i tend to play marginal cards in marginal situations and when you do that on 6 tables 2 buyins turns to 3 real quick.

Played a year live screwin around with friends before I ever took the interwebz poker seriously.
Got myself a nice BR to start with a few years ago from this old thing called the CPC that they don't run anymore, but was sponsored by Lou Krieger... (qualified in a sat, won a sat for some extra small prize pool $, Placed ITM in the semi final, and placed ITM in the finals as well. Then eventually busted that BR because I was too noobish to understand the concept of BR management.
Didn't do much of anything cept live tourney play and occasional nights at the casino for 2 and a half years after that, usually being one of the better if not best at the table, but didn't really track anything.
Then one night back in late August i fked around bored and cashed in a Bodog freeroll... and just kind of ran with that $2 BR and been seeing how far I can take it. I'd say jumping between $25NL and $50NL after 3 months and a $600 cashout has started to make me pretty confident.
So, short answer, 5 years and ~30hours a week.

This took a while for me. Initally i was confident when I first started out playing. I was very skilled in math and poker was math to me. I always felt better than the other players especially live. I had minor success at first but I went broke online about 15-20 times.
I first played on party and ran 200 to 1K really really quickly. I didn't post here just played. Had no clue there was a such thing as variance or BR management. I was sitting at 5/10 NL SH and went broke really quickly. Redeposited $100 and lost it quickly playing 0.25/0.5. This cycle happened a few more times.
I move to stars and same thing. Deposited $100, $50, $100 etc. Would run it up or go broke really quickly. I joined here in 2005 and leared BR management, variance, strategy, read several books and watched a ton of poker on TV.
To this day I don't know if I truly feel confident cause sometimes i play like a retard. But now i'm suffiently rolled and supplement that with bets with Nate. To make a long story short it took at least 2-3 yrs to feel comfortable but I'm still trying to become confident.
